Well used to be a sedan fella then when using my wife's Aruz found it quite convenient to strap kids on and off their booster/ child seat. Changed to an SUV for myself and its easy on my old body to get in and out also

But other than that like the guy said above, sedan maybe more practical at times and a better drive. SUVs, the bigger they are, handles like people movers.

Wagon. Offers best of both worlds.

V60, Mazda 6 Grand Touring, Suabru Levorg are good options.

508 GT sw if you don't mind used cars.

on serious note, and practicality point of view. I really think Nissan Serena is a super good buy.
Don't underestimate its shape and sizes. Because I saw first hand a family with baby twins, and how convenient it was for the parents to just put the baby chair, and put the babies in and etc. Because the doors are so huge. The parents don't even need to bend themselves, climb on a step or anything like that. Just super convenient.

I also saw that old people literally WALK into the car, instead of having to bend lah, step up lah..you know how it is.

That car always gives me a very good impression as an amazing family car. And more afforadable then alphard or so.

if drive alot at night or early morning without sunlight, especially on dark roads, it's easier to see on SUV because higher vantage point.
*
good points usually drive during daytime. so no issue of dark roads.

Hi,

I plan to buy car, family consist of me + wife + 8m/o son + unborn child. Car will use for daily drive,(fetch 2 kids to babysitter), and use as family car long distance travel(maybe once a month). Office and babysitter distance is only like 20minutes from my house. Do you guys think SUV or Sedan better for us?
*
Get an SUV.
Once high, never go down.

Why? If not mistaken, boot size usually sedan bigger than SUV. SUV have heights advantage only in term of size.
