By 2020, mental health conditions are expected to be the second biggest health problem affecting Malaysians after heart diseases. A national survey by the Ministry of Health found that one in three Malaysian adults aged 16 years and above (29.2 per cent) have a mental health condition, nearly triple from 11.2 per cent in 2006.

This is 2019 news, without considering the pandemic effect. I wonder if the expection on 2020 is true/probably even worse.

do a dass test, if you have at least mild score on anxiety/depression/stress, then you can be considered as having mental illness.
but most of the time, if your assessment is just giving mild result, government health provider will not proceed with action. there are plenty of people that having severe mental illness need to be taken care first.

sometime this is somewhat true.
lesser observed/impaired brain function are likely to cause mental problem.

This issue is made worse by typical chinamen/asian mentality that if you're not successful/cant work in corporate/cant handle stress then you're just lazy or cannot pressure.

Go for it, even private specialist is not that "crazy expensive". You don't have to wait until complete breakdown.
You can do multi things at the same time, minor workout, get really good at hobbies.

With current definition of mental illness, 50% of the population has it.
Social media is the major cause of the surge.

Short term solution: go to psychiatric, get meds.

Long term solution: change your lifestyle. Avoid fast food and oily stuffs. Eat more fruits and veges, exercise more.

Already doing this mate. Everyday week 3 day run 3 to 5k, weekend cycle 100k, i dont eat anything that comes out of a machine except for bacon coz its damn nice. I dont eat oily or fried food except for maybe 4 time a month.

Breakfast usually egg sandwich, lunch chicken rice etc and night most of the day are oats with milk and berries

Trust me food is not the issue or contributing issue
