this is my 2 cents about a razer product, the diamondback....

been using it for half a year now.... n it has been fantastic in terms of gaming...

however, i'm not particularly a heavy gamer... therefore i would not recommend anybody(who is not a heavy gamer) to get this mouse....

simply because, it is NOT COMFORTABLE.....

an hour of surfing the net or playing FPS and i alrd experience some pain/discomfort on my wrist and pinky finger....

btw guys, all of ur prolly have a razer mouse... don't u experience any pain on ur wrist if u game with the mouse for long hours?

i think the main culprit is that my palm does not get to rest on the mouse... therefore, the pain occurs... hmm.gif

Recently bought a Razer Copperhead (Anarchy Red) with the eXactmat and eXactrest for my fiance (Along with an Everglide gaming keyboard but nevermind, since he doesn't want a Tarantula/Lycosa) for Christmas and our anniversary.

He usually plays Counterstrike (FPS) and Perfect World (MMORPG), and he's very happy with the mouse. He just loves it to bits and I can say that of all the things I've bought for him I've never seen his face light up so brightly when he got the mouse laugh.gif As for me though the mouse seems a bit too "big" for my hands... instead of fully pressing the left click button I only pressed the bottom part of the button! But as long as the end user (My fiance) loves it I'm satisfied smile.gif

FYI, the reason for me wanting a DKTboard is because the keyboard on the laptop absolutely sucks for gaming. Positioning sucks, key press sucks, feedback sucks....... urgh.....

or mayb i have big hands? tongue.gif

anyway, i am not bragging here but to give u a picture of how big my palm/hand is.....

i can grab a basketball with my right hand and extend it away from my body....

so yeah... haha.. i guess i should have gotten an ergonomic mouse.... whistling.gif

nevertheless, diamondback is a very very impressive gaming mouse... very responsive n definitely an improvement compared to my older mouse (basic logitech mouse)....

now that no green led razer keyboard will be coming out anytime soon...
i guess the tarantula has shot itself up to the top of the list, followed by the dktboard.

im staying away from lycosa after enough experience of rubber coating peeling off after awhile.

Lachesis? it feels good in the hands, thats about it.
sad to say, from razerblueprints, seems the Lachesis is the worst ever Razer mouse now.
even the Razer Viper, the previous worst ever optical mouse tongue.gif, didnt perform as bad.

perhaps soon a firmware will come out that will fix all the problems it has.
for now, you're better off getting a Diamondback 3G, Death Adder or Boomslang CE.

it has tendencies to jump around sometimes
currently razer say it's because the sensor is too sensitive
will be fixed with firmware update 1.56 which will be released soon according to the site
i should know, cos i'm using 1 myself

If you have a big palm, I suggest you save up, and get the boomslang CE while you can. It's really made for big palms. Everdying can confirm that!
