Last time can mix. My office use 2 isp. Unifi + Maxis. 1 BTU but 2 different router.

Why don't you ask for transfer. A to B. Don't talk about A to B and B to A. Just do 1 side.. After success then another side.
*
as you said, LAST time.
i also wish to have that option available in case I need it pop it.

but right now, they don't allow.

--

(facepalm)
what you suggested is exactly what is not approved by both Unifi and Maxis.
1 HSBB premise only allow 1 ISP. It could be due to syatem limitation (even if dahulukala boleh). It could be administrative policy that disallows it from happening.
thus @jusbella can't move Maxis account to a port that is assigned to Unifi, and vice-versa. Don't talk about doing it simultaneously; even doing it step by step also can't.
That's why @jusbella was advised by both ISPs to just terminate and sign-up anew (at higher price, of course), so that the ports are freed to reassign. but in the process, @jusbella will lose the special pricing and also risk losing both ports.

that's why i said, instead of terminating either one or both, if @jusbella is really adamant to attempt rearrange AND maintain price, can play tower of hanoi by temporary parking unifi account at 3rd premise, so that maxis can take over the vacated port. then he can move the unifi account. he gets to keep his coveted pricing at the risk of losing the vacated port for ever.

--

maybe can bring to MCMC.
but i can't think of better reason to plead to be entertained.
the ISPs won't be reimbursed proper for doing this, as relocations are free, you will not be asked to renew contract, and the plans involved are already cheap (i presume). from business sense, this does not make economic sense.

maybe, if you can quid-pro-quo, like, agree to be contracted for doing this eventhough initially not required, maybe then the ISPs can give some thought into making it happen. maybe also agree to take buy additional add-on like unifitv to soften the rock hard stance.

fukmi said sept will get cheaper price, yet still no news. This guy just keep making announcement without any launch date.
After some consideration, I seriously doubt tm will lower the price. I rmb someone already did some calculation here before.
Let's look at the current packages.

Special package:
Pakej perpaduan RM69/m 30mbps only certain group can apply. (B40, OKU, etc...)
Once contract ended will revert to RM89/m (24/m contact)

swu3.0 300mbps = RM119/m, with 6 month rebate, your bill is actually RM89/m *24

Now look the current packages (new signup):
30mbps = RM89/m
100mbps = RM129/m
300mbps = RM149/m
500mbps = RM209/m

So the possible outcome is, fukmi really announce something and tm got no choice but to comply.
1. The possible scenario for existing users is, get speed boost, price remain. (won't impact their revenue stream)
2. New user, maybe get rebate for 6 months or so but same speed. (similar to pajek perpaduan)

Maybe someone is smart enuff can math this out that we all happy? But company is not your fren, they dont want you happy, they just want your money.

Rmb he is not gobind singh, and you don't fuck with lawyer.
fukmi just a former actor suddenly come a minister, saja saja make an announcement or travel to s.korea naver HQ without purpose just for show.

it is easy to see what price they are going to announce base on swu3.0 & pakej perpaduan.

I can see "best case scenario" will be something like,
30mbps = RM69/m
100mbps = RM89/m
300mbps = RM119/m

dont think we will get any better than above.
for above 500mbps I cannot predict since they include TV sometimes, mesh package a lot of diff thing, so I never bother keep track.

if existing 30mbps price at RM69 that will butcher their current pakej perpaduan.

I'm guessing something like this
Before MSAP
Special package:
Pakej perpaduan RM69/m 30mbps

(new signup):
30mbps = RM89/m
100mbps = RM129/m
300mbps = RM149/m

------------------------------------------

After MSAP-ed
Pakej perpaduan RM69/m 30mbps (untouch)

(new signup):
50mbps = RM89/m
100mbps = RM99/m
300mbps = RM129/m

I also dont keep track 500mbps because it's usually added tv package. I'm just speculating.
Why i think 50mbps will become base package is because, last year my cousin got tricked by TM, said topup RM10 can boost his speed from 30mbps>50mpbs. And he agreed, so now paying RM99/m.
By right, he should just signup swu2.0 and get 100mbps, but he wasn't aware.

I vaguely remeber, it's only available if you use it in Router mode. AP mode don't have speed restriction.

Yes been tried this method and they claim system detected there is another Fibre on that premises and won't allow to proceed further.

Old day I have subscribe 2 isp on same premises, share 1 btu with 2 different router. That's what I thought able to proceed migration without issue.

And yes Oltromen Ripot post clarified clearly exactly correct. 100% accurate.

Speed limit for individual devices? You can't do it with Deco.

Speed limit for individual devices? Unifi router meaning router supplied by TM? I would say no in general.

Any of you guys been to UNIFI Store KLCC? It's written in Unifi Outlet website can make registration/application there as well.

Going there this weekend to try my luck for SWU 3.0 though still in-contract till Dec 2023.

Last time I went to TMPOINT SETAPAK, but it seems they change the name there as well to UNIFI STORE SETAPAK, but they don't open on weekends.

Current contract : unifi 300Mbps Basic - Staywithunifi - RM129/monthly

Hope they consider like the case in 2019. Wish me luck guys. fufufufufu.. drool.gif drool.gif

I have been using Asus RT-AX86U for quite some times. This router can easily support 1Gbps WAN.

Very good, no need mesh at all to cover my double storey 22x75.

By the way, I use Asus-Merlin firmware.

By default, ALL TMpoint (rebranding to UNIFI Store in-progress) don't open on weekends. If you see one is open on weekend, please double check if it's just authorised dealer.

So far, I've seen only mention of (true) stores in KLCC, IOI Mall Serdang that are open on weekend. Was there a mention of one in Midvalley or next to it as well?
