regardless of the whining unifi counter lady last Monday,
I still got the SWU 3.0.. (300Mbps @ RM119)

they changed the BTU/ONU to a new one HG6240A (or something),
I still couldn't get 500Mbps now but I told them it's okay for me (for now),
since I also do not want to change my current network configurations too much..



speeds are erratic, but at least >300Mbps DL & constant 100Mbps UL..
will do some troubleshooting over the weekend.

oh, and 2x mesh routers.. not bad (but I'm sticking to my current ASUS mesh routers).

iinm the 300mbps @ 149/mth is bundled with unifi playtv, just ignore them and go walkin to ur nearest tmpoint and ask for swu3.0.. unless u r planning tu use playtv then might as well avoid the hassle and apply directly via WA. but out of curiosity, try to ask the ones from WA abt swu3.0, maybe they can apply from the system, save u a trip to tmpoint

Just now I went Unifi store (IOI City Mall) to check SWU 3.0  (300Mbps), SA asked me where I know about this package, then told me on 300Mbps package, either:
- Broadband package @ rm119+
- TV package @ rm189+ (Only Ultimate Plus pack or top-up fo Max pack, no more offer Aneka / Ruby / Varman)

The SWU 3.0 on 300Mbps:
- Free speed upgrade (12 months?)
- 24 months contract
- Free Wifi6 Mesh (only for Broadband package)
- Free Unifi Plux Box (only for TV package)

I said will wait for Sep announcement, he said this is finalized package for Sep announcement, he even showed me the info received from HQ in today. I didn't take the offer and left.

BTW… I'm still with Super Value YEP2019 (100Mbps + 600 min free calls + Ruby Plus Pack) for rm129+.

I'm not in hurry to sign-up SWU 3.0 yet, so it's better to wait until official announcement and decide it later.

Yes... he showed me a picon 300Mbps like Free speed upgrade + 24 months contract + Free Wifi6 Mesh ==> price RM119 (not showing entirely) .
The rest he explained to me how the package like + mentioned this is confirmed package from HQ to be used in Sept'23...
Since this is different package as stated this thread, it's better to put on hold first.

Upgraded to SWU 3.0 today, 300Mbps@RM119, free upgrade to 500Mbps for 1 year, free 6 months subscription, 2x D-Link DIR-X3060Z and HG6240A ONU.

Didn't use the D-Links, still using Asus AiMesh. Haven't test the speed since they claim with take up to 24hrs.

If this doesn't work, just ask directly about stay with unifi. Just casually answer if stuff ask you how you know you answer found from social media je
Ps: only full flaged tmpoint/unifi store can accept recontract/swu offers. If the sign says "authorised dealer", dont bother and find another one

If got time you can see several tmpoint branch nearby your place of course. However they usually only opens on workdays business hours (same like office or bank hours)

Provided that the staff sign you up for SWU 3.0, then the routers are free. (As mentioned by a lot of forumers here)


D-Link routers shared by my friend who signed up for SWU 3.0 - 300Mbps package.

I gotten 2 mesh capable WIFI6 routers (a dif brand).

The installer say these are free, but some ppl expecting DECO for it, that's not free.

Though since I have my own Asus router, I ask them need not install it.

I guess TM now got many mesh capable routers lineup in their inventory for free.

But still they're charging if you specifically signed up one with DECO.

My process is real fast, wen't on Friday of Merdeka long holiday, they registered my interest and say will contact in 3 working days.

Surprisingly next day (Saturday) the installer contacted and ask if free to install the new routers. After he came I checked my package, already changed to SWU.

Did they record your thumbprint for authorisation?
