Does anyone have issue swap fibre from house A to house B? With different ISP.
Were do today and they said cannot. Both ride on TM infra. For my case:- House A Subang Jaya - 500mbps unifi House B Setapak - 30mbps maxis Were trying to do swap A to B and B to A, liaise with both maxis and unifi together and all said cannot and must terminate first. Not willing to terminate since both out of contract already and supposed able to relocation easily. And also worry port given to other people. QUOTE(Oltromen Ripot @ Sep 13 2023, 11:54 AM) Unfi T&C: Both fibre different owner• You can sign up to 3 fibre account in 3 different premises • You can have multiple fibre accounts owned by different individuals in 1 premise Chat: • Cannot mix ISPs in 1 premise your swap attempt will end up with mixed ISP. which they ruled not permissible. You might need a 3rd premise to temporarily shift account to. Which of the 2 premises is guaranteed able to get back a port if you let go of current port? Vacate that 1st. Maxis my wife. Unifi my own. |

QUOTE(1mr3tard3d @ Sep 13 2023, 12:12 PM) don't think there is speed upgrade for 800 Mbps or above Transfer owner or relocation would not extend contract.https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...ost&p=107887324  i thought either change of ownership or relocation will subject to refreshing 2-year contract anyway perhaps you could make a transfer request to change the ISP visit the TMpoint to change speed plan for better offer so you could secure the port availability Not willing to transfer other isp because my unifi plan is special limited edition from gobind day and price super duper low. 1mr3tard3d liked this post

QUOTE(aneip @ Sep 13 2023, 08:22 PM) Last time can mix. My office use 2 isp. Unifi + Maxis. 1 BTU but 2 different router. Yes been tried this method and they claim system detected there is another Fibre on that premises and won't allow to proceed further. Why don't you ask for transfer. A to B. Don't talk about A to B and B to A. Just do 1 side.. After success then another side. Old day I have subscribe 2 isp on same premises, share 1 btu with 2 different router. That's what I thought able to proceed migration without issue. And yes Oltromen Ripot post clarified clearly exactly correct. 100% accurate. |
