Can i just waltz in to TMPoint to ask for SWU? or just switch to Maxis?
Current Plan: 300mbps rm199

And since I have another fiber plan for homestay and addon tv, should be no problem asking for it?

Not true. Only some of them will get the call, just like playing jackpot.

Click the arrow to dropdown, then click 'view service', can see the service start date there. Mine for example says May 2022, which is when I applied for SWU2.0, so my contract is till May 2024.

Just received a call from TM and 'offerred' me same package at rm149.
The really need a better CRM system.

I'm gonna wait for Fahmi's announcement then only apply for SWU3.0. Otherwise may be stuck in contract at old price for another 2 years.

SWU 3.0 is happening now. Since your contract ends Oct, you may need to bargain with them if you want the SWU 3.0 300mbps at 119rm and all the freebies.
best you walk in and talk to them.

maybe our government compare with neighbour Brunei, the unlimited package here starts from jeng jeng jeng BND98 per month with 24months contract and FUP 1000GB.

For those who upgraded wta how long did you have to wait for the new router to reach you???

I think every area is different, it depends on the number of new/upgrade installation.

For me who stay in Muar Johor: talk to sale rep thru phone on 19th Aug, realised that was for 300Mbps with UnifiTV@RM149(or was it RM159); went down TM point to change to 300Mbps only@RM119 on 20th Aug, installation took place on 25th Aug, include all hardwares. All done in one week.

The people will riot if there is FUP for our fibre broadband..this is not a wireless 5G ...

So stupid to call it unlimited with the FUP limit

As long as they drop the word unlimited it is ok. If they are creative enough, can even come up with FUP plan, for example RM50 for 100mbps, 1tb quota.
