Did you run the test using Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi?

guys, shoplot can apply unifi home? cuz saw can apply unifi home when select shop address
Supposedly you can't use home package for business purposes
But you can try, no harm done. The worse thing that could happen is they just reject your application or the installation will be canceled when they go to your place & found out it's a shoplot

Has anyone terminated their Unifi account but kept their landline phone number? I'm getting conflicting answers on this from different people.
Ask TM directly

My contract ended last year. Was thinking changing to Time but unifi just offer me free 6 month for 100mbps package. after that rm119. shoud i take it?
Time Fiber 100Mb/s is RM99 per month
Time Fiber RM99 x 24 Months = RM2376
UniFi RM119 x 18 Months (minus the free 6 months) = RM2142

Time Fiber gives Public IP whereas, with UniFi you'll have to provide valid proof of why you need Public IP such as CCTV usage
Time Fiber also provides symmetrical download & upload speed for 100Mb/s package. Whereas with TM, the upload speed 100Mb/s package is only 30Mb/s

Both have their pros & cons so you'll have to decide for yourself

Damn. I got scammed rm300 by the TM contractor then. Time to report with TM.
You should've called TM helpline on the spot when the contractor is there to confirm with them if the charges are to be borne by you or by TM

This applies to any ISP. Confirm with their helpline immediately while the contractor is there so you don't get scammed

Limit to B40 or lower the contract period for B40
I'm not saying no to reducing the price of our internet, I welcome that very much. & I also appreciate it if the ISPs can reduce the contract period to 1 year for those eligible

But removing the contract period altogether is not possible at all. Who's gonna pay for the router, the BTU, the fiber cable & the contractor charges?
Those people who go to your place to pull the fiber cable from outside, install then set up the BTU & router are not TM themselves. It's a 3rd party contractor that TM has to pay
Do you think the customer who only signs up for 1 month and then suddenly wants to terminate is going to pay for it?

what is this free speed upgrade in all the plans?
Temporary speed upgrade for 6 months. After 6 months you will go back to your original speed

Example:
You subscribe to 30Mb/s @ RM89 per month. You will get 100Mb/s for the first 6 months. After 6 months, you will go back to the original subscribed speed of 30Mb/s
No extra charges. It will remain RM89 throughout your contract period

SNIP
Tell her to test using Ethernet cable first
If the connection is stable using Ethernet cable, then her issue is probably with the WiFi
If she's still suffering the same issue with Ethernet cable, then it's TM's routing issue

Is it possible to ask TM to configure the fiber modem so that port 1 is internet (router PPPoE without setting VLAN), port 2 is IPTV ?
Such request will not be entertain unless you kawtim with the installer
Even then, not all installer knows how to configure the modem further than what they are thought & not all modems is capable of such feature

I see ...still have 1 year to go and now TIME is available for landed properties around my area

will assess again when the time comes whether I should SWU again  tongue.gif
If TIME is available in your area, no need to think twice nor should you wait for SWU
Just switch

Anyone here know the procedure for termination due to death of account holder?
Go to any TMPoint & bring these 2 documents
1. Original death certificate. Not a copy
2. Some document to prove you're related to the deceased. If the internet line is being used by your deceased tenant, the rental contract

On 30mb plan 89 monthly + SST = RM95.

looking to downgrade... possible?
Downgrade to what? That's the lowest plan there is

Except if you're already a Digi postpaid RM60 subscriber, then you can get Digi Fiber 50Mb/s @ RM75 (RM79.50 after SST)

You may be able to get SWU 6 months free although you will be required to renew your contract for another 24 months, just search through this topic on how to get TM SWU
