Will they charge me?
Unless you know how to fix it, just get them to come on site
If the issue is caused by them, you don't have to pay anything
If the issue is caused by you, then you'll have to pay RM50 per visit

Actually how many devices we can login with this 24months free Disney account at same time?
You can login on unlimited number of devices
Though I'm not sure if there's a limited number of devices you can watch at 1 time. Only tested to watch on 2 screens at 1 time, didn't test more

Disney Hotstar 24 months free is good but this Unifi really trapped you with another new 24 months contract *sigh*
I'm not seeing the trap
Don't want to refresh UniFi contract = subscribe to Disney+ Hotstar by yourself and pay the additional monthly subscription fee to Disney+ Hostar
Don't want to pay additional monthly fee to get Disney+ Hostar? = subscribe to new 24 months contract with UniFi

Is UniFi forcing you to take Disney+ Hostar subscription? No

Nothing in this world is free

Is it possible to get a TV box that supports Netflix etc. but also can be used for Unifi TV?
If your TV is a TV with built-in android TV, just install the UniFi TV app
If it's just a standard TV, just get Xiaomi Mi Box then you can watch Netflix, Disney+, YouTube & UniFi TV as well

Macam very fishy aje…
It's valid. But it will refresh your contract for 24 months
UniFi has been offering this for 5 months now since May this year

I think I may have not been clear about my statement... sorry about that...  sweat.gif

What I was wondering is that if it is possible to cancel the subscription like 24 hours before the free 24-month subscription ends, right before they charge RM50+ for a 3-month subscription...?
You'll have to ask TM that question
Eitherway, I don't think TM will allow Hotstar to charge you without your consent
Hotstar can't charge you anyway because no credit card/debit card is linked to your Hotstar account

I suppose I could ask to swap to another device.
Hell no
You already signed a contract for a specific device and nowhere in the contract offers you to swap to another device if you're not satisfied with it

Want to report to MCMC? Go ahead. Even MCMC won't bother with this matter because there's a contract between you & TM

Just lucky to take the available offers at the appropriate time. And, of course, thanks to the Unifi threads here. I paid RM0 to go from 30 to 50, After that it was RM10 from 50 to 100 and again RM0 from 100 to 800.

At its peak, I was paying RM179 for 30Mbps, RM189 for 100Mbps, now RM159 for 800Mbps.
Same here

30Mb/s @ RM179
Recontract to:
50Mb/s @ RM179
Recontract and increase RM10 to:
100Mb/s @ RM189
Turbo Upgrade to:
800Mb/s @ RM189

How did you get 800Mb/s @ RM159 anyway? Did you terminate UniFi TV?

whoa how did you get the 800mbps for RM189?
The answer to your question already explained in my previous post

I started with 30Mb/s @ RM179. Then got upgraded to 50Mb/s at the same price but contract renewed for another 24 months. Then got an offer to double my speed to 100Mb/s with an RM10 price increase to RM189. And then finally got the turbo upgrade to 800Mb/s but at the same price as before

Can i request unifi to give me asus brand or tp link router wifi6 when upgrading to 300mbps? It actually comes with a china brand homefibre which i doubt the quality.
No. And TM will never carry ASUS
No ISP in the world provides a reliable router for free

You want a good router? Buy your own

So r u suggesting that if i get X68, my first floor will surely achieve 300mbps if my main router is located at ground floor?
There are no 100% confirm when involving WiFi
But with dedicated WiFi backhaul, it should provide better routing and speed

If you want 100% confirm, you gotta pull Ethernet cable between the floors. No way around that

so which deco model should i get?
As mentioned by other users. Get the Deco X68. But don't expect good after-sales support from TP-Link. It's practically non-existent
But if you have the funds, go for ASUS XT8. Better hardware + immediate response from the manufacturer, frequent firmware updates & much longer product support
