Not able, PC and Unifi Router separated location, lan cable not fit to connect
Cannot move the PC nearer to the router temporarily so you can test this?

Unfortunately, can't unifi setup at living room near TV those, PC at another room.
If you want to find out what is causing the issue, either move your PC nearer to the router temporarily or buy a long LAN cable

There is no way around this

Does TM installer able to drop the fiber cable through a concealed wire tunnel from upstairs to downstairs?

Normally 2 storey house they will pull from pole to upstairs first and then pull downstairs if need be?
Not unless you're willing to pay for the extra length

Heres my last tracking fyi, they seem no problem in my area, always do next day deliver once they picked up my items.
Out of curiosity, where is your place?
I'm in SS19 Subang Jaya

whoah nice.

now i'm divided whether to get Sharp 75" through maxis fibre or get this Sharp 60" through unifi fibre.

if maxis leceh have to walk-in check zerolution eligibility. if unifi i don't expect TM to banyak soal, straight away stack into bill and contract.
Just installed it on my bedroom wall
But since I only upgrade from 58" to 60", I can't really see the difference in size

Though this TV is a lot lighter than my Hisense 58", took me less than 10 minutes to install it on the wall (wall mount already there, just have to swap the mount from the old TV)

The biggest downside of this TV is that it only comes with 8GB of internal storage with 4.6GB left even before I install any apps. Had to use a flash drive to expand the storage doh.gif

Btw how is the color and viewing angle?
I'm not very particular about colors and this TV is installed right infront of the bed so the viewing angle doesn't matter to me
As long as the TV is working, it's fine by me biggrin.gif

I share your concern of only having restrictive 4GB free. hopefully it can fit my family's current regiment of Disney+Netflix+UnifiTV+VIU+Youtube
If the bolded part is your only usage, then the 4GB free should be enough
I'm a different story because I use KODI, which stores the cache of the videos information in the internal storage

But then again, you can always expand the internal storage by using a flash drive
Kingston DT70 32GB is only RM17 in Shopee

I finally got the Installation appointment tomorrow. My house is 150 metres away from the TM pole. Will I need to pay for additional poles / wiring?
You only need to pay for what's inside your house. And that only applies if the length of the fiber cable inside your house exceeds 15 meters
The calculation of that 15-meter length starts from the entry point inside your house

I've met with several unscrupulous installer trying to scam me by telling me that the calculation starts from the pole
If this happens to you, take note of their name, their car plate number, their phone number and report directly to TM helpline in front of them by calling the 100 number
After that, file a police report on this matter too so TM will take your report seriously

Hi guys, are the contract details reflected under the myunifi app support option as below accurate?
Somehow mine is inaccurate or probably not updated
The live chat shows that my contract ended in Nov 2017 even though I renewed my contract upgrading from 50Mb/s to 100Mb/s in 2017 so my contract should end in 2019

Nowadays I'm stuck on 175 ip...if reconnect or restart can't get any other ip....is this fair?
What's wrong with 175?
QUOTE(soonwai @ Aug 9 2022, 11:15 AM)
I kinda like the 175 range. Causing u probs?
Same here. To me, 175 provides the best internet speed & latency to most websites
I also get the highest download speed from Steam, Origin, Ubisoft, Epic & Blizzard when I get 175

Normally what solutions are there if your taman perumahan kept having unifi cables stolen, even though it's fiber but well thieves just dont know thought it's copper. Usually happens midnight, wee hours, the frequency is like one time a month and TM needs one or a few days to resolve reconnect back the broken stuff.
Out of curiosity, where exactly is your place?
QUOTE(syncomp @ Aug 17 2022, 08:58 AM)
The package that we kinda debating right now is whether to take 100 Mbps or 300 Mbps
Where is your old folk's place? If it's inside Allo coverage area, might as well get Allo

100Mb/s for RM89
300Mb/s for RM109
