In all honesty, whether it's this type of mammal or another, my prayers are the same: please don't screw up my internet.

About 3 years ago, my poor neighbour's Unifi was out for 27 days because the cable to her house was pulled out. Though in that case, it wasn't a Dusky Leaf monkey. Apparently there was a mix-up and during an installation, someone disconnected her fibre and used her port for another house.

Yah, same thing with my neighbour. System messed up somehow and installer saw that the port was unused or port was allocated to the new install.

Because the port is now connected to another house, when my neighbour make report, TM support will check and all they can see is that port/modem is connected. Macam ini ding-dong for a week with TM resetting port, off/on router and suggesting that the router is at fault. Then send technician baru can see LOS on modem but system show modem connected. All confused. Finally send team to check the fibre outside the house. Even when problem was found, cannot simply cabut out so another few days before they came back to reconnect the cable. Nasib baik still got port free.

Mine ended Oct 2021 because of taking the YEP 2019 free 3-months back in 2019.

It's something tangible that can be converted to cash and almost always a free router will come with a free DC adapter and free cables.

The dual-band node is receiving from the main node and transmitting to your device simultaneously using its single 5Ghz radio so you basically get half the speed.

Turn it around and the tri-band node dedicates one radio to receive and another to transmit. Both at full speed.

Until you have 5Ghz devices connected to the downstairs dual-band node. Speeds will drop since the single 5Ghz now have to service both its devices as well as upstairs node.
