That racing gasket have bigger piston hole on the header gasket...
58mm in diameter compared to the original one which is smaller...
That gasket is needed because of the bigger piston which is also 58mm in diameter...

Also the oil seal quality is a lot better than ordinary gasket which is important for this radiator cooled engine...

And for the racing camshaft is not for the valve respond faster...
It is for allowing more air+fuel mixture going into the combustion chamber by opening the valve bigger and longer than the standard one... rclxms.gif
Got many kind of racing camshaft...for pick-up, for mid-range and for top-speed...Got other kinds also..

i have seen and used good quality gaskets... what i notice is the quality is better... the material is good. It is not paper type nor rubber.... it is 50/50... resulting no leakage.

High cam for more intake to go in the combustion chamber. Valve open bigger and more fuel.

yup... correct... the highest is No.6... the lowest is No. 3 if not mistaken. The higher the number the more opening to your valve.

I have something to share with you guys. Last week on the 28th of September i bought a Yamaha 125ZR (Black) brand new from a bike shop. On Wednesday this week, the 2t reservoir leaks and i took it to Yamaha Service Center. Upon inspection, they found out that my 125ZR is in fact not 125ZR but instead a converted 125Z where the bodykit was changed and sport rims slapped on.

I was furious, e-mailed Yamaha, and seek legal advice. Yamaha supported me to go forward with a tribunal case against the bike shop, and everything was prepared to go ahead if they couldn't settle the matter before the tribunal. The shop owner called me still in denial but offered a peace settlement with replacing the fake 125ZR with a new 125ZR. I accepted the offer and now i got the real 125ZR.

Well, i hope i my story would help you guys better prepared against this type of con cases. The things worth nothing are that, slap on stickers are no match for factory stickers, and rims tampering are certainly noticeable.

The shop is located in Penang, near Jelutong Police Station. A few shoplots next to it to be precise.

i've threaten them with sue, and they've replaced my bike with a new one so its considered settled. But yeah i was so pissed off i feel like taking them to court, but since that ******* replaced the bike its considered settled.
