Anyone tried the slow motion video? Can it be uploaded directly to other apps? Seems like the one on the Mi8 was broken in 2020. It shows as slow motion in the gallery, but not in other apps.

miui 12.5 is acceptable with few bugs. but miui 13 on my mi 11 ultra is buggy , crappy & auta. will never buy another rm3k above xiaomi flagship. still at december 2021 security update. now is march. really ridiculois company. also the OLED is worst than my SAMSUNG NOTE10+ dynamic amoled eventhough got 1B color, 120hz.

damn, the battery life test from GSMARENA for 12 and 12 pro is awful....

now you know when they first launched in china got panned because of poor software implementation cause battery life suffer and performance not much better (even got occasionally microshutters given that raw performance). MIUI13 still far from perfect and LTPO like half baked one

My thoughts after using for 48 hours

At that price, Motorola edge 30 pro seems better
Rm2699 with 12g ram and 256 gb

In spec term Motorola wins hands down, but the update not sure how Motorola gonna commit

Price is too expensive and mediocre battery life. Awaiting the 12T series.

Realme GT2 Pro launching on 24/3/2022 and have quite good battery life and I think the price will be cheaper than Xiaomi 12 pro price but might be more expensive than Motorola Edge 30 pro

It's mildly reskinned color os, with launcher close to stock "pixel launcher" home screen. Actually quite decent enough for day to day usage

Ex-oneplus user can probably quickly get used to it too

That will be too expensive for a Realme. They tend to go for the more price conscious market - especially in the Indian market hence I don’t think they will price it that high, but then again, Ron 97 is RM4.00 per litre now…

They still have the best bang for buck in terms of hardware to price in their midrange segment, but I’m not so sure they have what it takes to compete in the premium segment. MIUI is a love-it-or-hate-it affair, their updates are not consistent and tend to have lots of bugs and you do get some inconsistencies in their hardware occasionally like their proximity sensor, FP reader, etc coz they tend to use cheaper parts. Their Poco and Redmi Note series phones still have the best overall value for certain users, but beyond that, I agree with you completely - they aren’t as appealing as before.

mi10 , mi11 , mi12 is consider their flagship phone , with T series at the behind is actually REDMI phone in china but rebrand to xiaomi T for global , so basically people is buying cheap phone is REDMI and xiaomi is for the flagship price

lol , when u come to real world when u using for facebook , whatsapp , instagram swipe swipe u will found the samsung won't have great battery life

But the software is half baked, they have too many models and not enough developers to maintain. Spewing out half baked firmware

actually back to the everyday usage like whatsapp , wechat , facebook , messenger its ok la not making any problem at least for me , im a 10T and poco f3 user that happy with the purchase without really face so call BIG BUGS from miui

for the price point nothing much can complain


i heard that MIUI actually china ROM won't face so much so call small bug problem la .. only global unit that most user will facing small bug


But for me stil ok because it really never bring me big problem while using miui , i stil feel it far more better than samsung la because everything is so smooth and fast , Screenshot , crop , sending to whatsapp is so fast while samsung feel so slow on this

There is no T series, Xiaomi started of with lowest price with highest end "engine" but want to self rebrand after saw BBK cartel, Huawei reaping a lot $$$ by going premium price with a slightly upgraded camera

Redmi not cheap, just want to remain the budget series

MIUI really, do not what to say, stick back with MIUI 12.5 with Android 11 if you don't care about security patches

my mi 11 ultra cn set after miui 13 update cannot forced dark mode for apps downloaded from Google play store.

YES same for MY set. No dark mode additional option after upgrade to MIUI 13

Motorola edge 30 pro?

If can sell off at RM 700 to 800, then reasonable pricing for the phone but speaker will takes a long time to sell off, if they free gift watch + ear buds, will be easier to sell off….
