Using android phone (highend/flagship) performance is subjected to the user behaviour (cant say the same for iOS), just like one person laptop is speedy and another person laptop (same spec) is shitty.



That being said, i owned a great line of MI phones such Mix series, MI 10 pro and currently using MI 12 Pro.


Never had such issues as reported above (Not rooted and using stock ROM). Only thing i dislike about this brand is the bloatware installed (most of android phones has this) as well as the ads enabled on a flagship level (there are ways to disable it). So not much complaints for me except this brand doesnt really have official waterproof rating.



Speaking of thermals, yeah there is this and that crap about how its heats up and how gen 1 plus should be more efficient and less heating but then again reports actually shows that the plus variant also having the same heating problem. The main thing is that, since when these phones doesnt heat up during intensive usage ?


TLDR, MI 12 / Pro overall is great, if you are looking for a new phone, and there is price reduction, go for it. Else get the gen 1 plus variant instead (because its clocked higher).
