Have a look thru the link. Try avoiding shopping malls. If not, you can try malls that have less footfall or standalone stores.

Thanks... for the input... i wonder if smaller maxis store will have less option compared to bigger maxis center at shopping mall?
But i think worse case just take the blue titanium which is low in demand in case really dont have any unit left for natural or white titanium....

I’m collecting mine in Paradigm Mall PJ. I’ll report back if they have any phones on display.

Maxis restock for their preorder but delivery date is 10 days later on 9-10-2023.
Now they have colors for white, titanium and black back on stock... pre order while stock last!

Yes delivery is 9-10-2023... at least got the cleaner color that i want....
now they offer all 4 colors....

Reason to pre-order is because it deliver to your home and you dont have to go and queue up... or go to the maxis center as usual will be crowded.

some sort of pre order for the iphone it just like life and death thing meanwhile you can even purchase it later on -- well someone might be jealous to those who pre ordered the iphone 15 series -- simple nod.gif

Anyway you can still buy it starting from 29/9 if there is available stock, you can always cancel the preorder and buy it next week from physical store... I did the preorder just to secure my unit as I heard in other countries, shipping date is around 6 to 7 weeks after they placed their order.

So i did preorder just for insurance la..... not life and death la.....

Maxis gives nothing free, bro - it's been that way for years, hahaha. No freebies, slowest to the 5G party and most expensive plans. And yet we all stick with them...

Only reason stick with Maxis is they are the only telco offering normal contract where digi and celcom and offering something similar to Maxis's Zerolution which give less phone discount...

Normal contract has better discount and is better for those monthly bill subsidize by company....

IMHO la...... so still stick with Maxis la... even they are lansi.....

I don't have a choice - only maxis has decent coverage in my little taman in Klang, hahaha....

Anyways, you're right. It's strange that Digi and Celcom didn't offer normal contract this round. I did a comparison and as it turns out, maxis is not the most expensive...

Yes, i hope maxis dont remove the normal contract in the future but seems like this is the trend... soon no more normal contract all is zerolution..... lol................

u can see more and more people are buying from reseller like machine, switch, TMT, apple official store because seems like not much advantage from telco anymore...
Who the hell need 200GB of Data permonth when everyone have broadband at their home......

wave.gif I'm one of these who finally terminated maxis postpaid in 2023 after more than 20+ continuous years without ever switch out or changing to prepaid. Every month is contract of RM128, 158, 188, 120, 150, etc. if you long enough with maxis you should know these postpaid plans. I even got blue form for Maxis IPO.

Few reasons, main ones:
1) no more claims from company for the past few years cause company provide phone already, but I'm still sticking with Maxis earlier.
2) final straw, maxis no longer offer gadget sim for 5G sim

Asked Maxis Centre CS any options, they don't even bother to provide workable solution or call HQ/escalate shakehead.gif I straight asked for termination on the spot. Anyway, I'm just small fry spending RM150/mth x 20+years on Maxis mobile. unsure.gif

Bought outright from apple.com icon_rolleyes.gif

Yeah i agreed if no more claims from company better buy from Apple.com or other reseller... some even give free freebies....

Good and enjoy your device.... soon....

But this round don't really have that excitement because i am coming from iphone 13 pro max... not much changes higher processor, USB C, some minor upgrade on taking photos, 5X optical zoom, titanium body which is prone to scratches... ... Buying just to renew contract ...... anyway this year Iphone demand is really high....

yeah, with the iPhone 4S onwards, I re-contract every 2 years with Maxis then. For this iPhone 15PM is to replace my older iPhone XS, so the jump is quite significant for me. Last re-contract which has lapsed, I bought a phone for family member.
Keeping my oldest iPhone 8 as Waze phone, as I can change the battery without error message.
Company give iPhone14 last year.

Those were the stupid & hype days of queuing at MV, Capital Square, KLCC, etc.

Nowadays I change phone longer than 2 years+, like you say, not much innovation to justify the change for me.

Yes you are right... smart choice.... anyway.. less than 1 year from Iphone 16 pro will be launching soon ..... Lol... never ending catching up with the latest and greatest technology...

Nowadays, no more kiasu attitude like want to get the greatest phone on the first day... because we still lose to our neighbour Singapore which launched iphone officially last week.... lol......
