Guys, do yall really maintain your battery life between 20% to 80% (Not charging it after 80%) in order to maintain the battery life? I'm curious. (IP 13)
Nope, I always charge to 100% - I don’t charge it overnight or wirelessly though. Had my phone for about 3 months now and battery health is still 100%.

Wondering if it is worth going for the 13 or save some bucks with the 12? Won't be my main phone but I might play with the iPhone camera a lot, apparently uploads to IG looks better via iPhone than Android.

May I ask if anyone has both the Iphone 12 (regular) vs Iphone 13 (regular).
I'd like to know if its worth the extra price difference if we just talk about the differences. I am interested in the portrait video (How on earth did Apple last this long without it?), but I think some paid apps can do this already.
I am a not a gamer, I dont watch videos but I do a lot of FB and browsing and whatsapping. Most important to me is the camera because I am shutter bug and when travelling and holiday I depend on the phone to keep my memories.
Other than that does it make sense to pay RM400 more?
Is it really worth that much to have 1 more year of software support? I mean as of today IP7 is stop support but I'm pretty sure there are copies out there with refreshed batteries that can still do a decent job as a phone and camera.
I’ve had both iPhone 12 and 13 - and the main difference between both phones is the battery life. The iPhone 13’s battery life is significantly better than the 12, however if you’re a light to moderate user (maybe 4-5 hours screen time in a day), both phones should be adequate for your usage. As far as cameras are concerned, most reviewers agree the photo quality is about
similar between the 12 and 13 - with the significant improvements only on the Pro models. So then it comes to the additional year of support between the 12 and 13 - and that is highly subjective and depends on users. It’s also worth pointing out that although you won’t get the latest iOS version after 5 years, rest assured Apple will still release vital security patches for older phones - my mum’s iPhone 5S was still receiving security updates last year when I moved her to iPhone 6S.
My humble opinion though is unless you really need an iPhone now, hold off any purchases till the new ones get announced in early September. Even if you do not want to pay the exorbitant prices for the latest models, the existing ones will get a price cut across board, and you’ll get a better bargain. Just 2.5 months or less to go.
