I was told by a SA that HM claim the honda sensing is not available on E spec in her training. I don’t believe her that time, seems like what she claim is true if this’s legit 🤣

Gonna drive my mazda 3 to a Honda centre to test drive

Nice. Medias today coming back from Penang I guess from their Corolla Cross Hybrid test drives. Rest and prep 1 day, and then go for Civic launching. Then iinm, 14th is like the official launch for their test drives today. Anyways, packed week for the medias but good for us, tons of Youtube videos to watch this weekend!

Did ask, he said don't think got test drive until closer to CNY.
I drove my MIL Corolla Cross - nice car, but totally different from Civic. If Corolla Cross vs HRV, definitely the Cross. If you have problems entering/exiting the current Civic, also the Cross is better. But performance / handling, Civic wins hands down. One thing I miss / don't like about the Cross is the Apple Carplay implementation is terrible - no integration with steering controls and stupid USB location, as well as there is no brake hold.

think i'm just gonna test drive and hold back my purchase. the lack of that 10" cluster is a dealbreaker for me especially in the RS spec

also waiting for MK8 Golf R Line 1.4 TSI. Rumoured price is around 130 - 140k+ also

Golf price maybe very competitive but lack of all safety features..but still a nice car to drive
mazda 3 liftback is sexy & nice if you no concern about space

I'm ready to retrofit those safety features myself if I end up getting the Golf (found a few shops that does this with original VW parts). but it really boils down to how much they price the Golf, 120 - 130k is the sweet spot, otherwise I'll wait till year end for deals. I also believe its gonna be easier to get higher discounts for VW (since its considered a 'cold' brand) compared to Honda or Mazda. My only concern for the Golf is the usability of all those touch controls in the interior... this one have to try out myself

For Mazda 3, its expensive and honestly other than the overall design and interior quality, nothing to shout about for me. I guess I like it because its the only choice (other than the Golf) to still have a conventional AT rather than CVT
Well I'm looking at segment rather than price...so yeah my range is 130 - 150k+. And personally I don't really want a crossover or SUV so naturally the choice is limited to the few sedans/hatchbacks

more like spend more but have to make sure its well spent. have to pray not ending up getting a lemon

because when it comes to buying cars, I find it very hard to accept lower spec parts if something better is supposedly available, that's just me. I'm someone who is willing to pay for more, just give me the damm option. And this is also just my opinion, the meter and LCD in the Mazda 3 was well designed and integrated. The lower spec display in the Civic is not instantly looks like a lower spec option already compared to the full digital one

I was not gonna consider VW at all until they mention the new golf will come with 8 speed AT from Aisin instead of a DSG. But still if I were to get it I prolly will opt for pre reg or year end discounts. Also reliability issues and so on, I'm going to gather opinions from owner group first rather than hearsay on internet

Anyway a car is more than a A to B tool for me, so in the end I have to test them all to see which one I like spending time in the most
