Few things:
1) (I don't think related but try anyways) Configure the collision warning to be much nearer (mine nearest)
2) you stop further behind
3) turn off parking warning button on the right side of consoles lol (stability control and Honda sensing physical switches are there too)

To explain on 1, that's not even Honda sensing or collision warning. Actual collision warning I've triggered many times and it's a full big orange warning sign saying about collision (no car sign with sensor direction)

It is front parking sensors (there's 4, just like rear 4 and it's directional based and I very much love them lol)

Though yes, it gets annoying when kapchai cilok in front of your car.

I've gotten used to that annoyance because I'm lazy to press the parking button.
Another easy trigger is when you're at tight ticket dispenser parking(gantry)

Nono. Trust me. This only happens when the car in front is a FC or CRV. I don’t know what you call this either collision warning or parking sensor but no one cilok me at all as you can see in my video. It is a specific bug when you are behind those 2 model of cars and both of you are stopped but engine running.

I've stopped behind CRV and FC (not sure if colors matter lol) but encountered no such issue.

Do complaint with Honda Malaysia and let us know what's the root cause and outcome

Honda CKD Malaysia was notorious for their parking sensors. My wife ex HRV kena many times replaced/rejected by SC until out of warranty I go Lazada buy part self replace resolved it

Maybe I tend to stop further behind other vehicles in Melaka cuz
1) many decat exhaust will stain my car in carbon
2) a TON of bikes and rempits lol

its to be precise the proximity sensor (no doubt ultrasonic). if i have to guess, must be interference of some sort. maybe it is true that the ultrasonic signals from the transmitter of the front car is being picked up as very near reflection signal by my own car

ahh, I got this as well during my test drive over the weekend, was stopped behind a CRV. I really thought it was an imminent crash.

yes, as usual it is ON, part of the honda sensing package when you want all the collision mitigation stuff. (Car with green circle around it).

If you have a chance again, perhaps can try to get explanation and clarification, why is it only happening when behind the latest CRV and Civic, or is this expected behaviour going forward? Surely they don't expect users to switch off the proximity sensor when behind a certain few types of vehicle and then switch it ON again afterward. If I recall it requires you to put your car into P (among other things).

No fix? What if the car brakes by itself when there is plenty of gap / safety issue arise? (Sorry I sound like smart alec only dare to say here) but actually I missed out to voice all these things during my 1k inspection....I simply sent my wife with the car and I forgot to ask her to say all these.

For sure next service I will compile a list of stuff and won't let them off so easily.

random question, is it possible to turn off the front parking sensors but still get AEB to work at least? i don't mind not having collision warning if i can just turn off the front parking sensors in the mean time

i'm lazy to read the manual, but in my mind they are not just "parking sensors" although the primarily are parking sensors. They are also used to alert you driving, that imminent collision is bound to occur. Example, if you are suddenly pretty close to a big and wide wall white wall in front of you...you wouldn't expect your vision camera to work to engage AEB right (there is nothing for the camera to recognize)? Think of it as close range distance sensors instead.

So, I wouldn't turn it off unless I have been mistaken in above assumption (I could be).

Verified this. It happen to me when there is another car with Honda Sensing such as latest CRV or 2020 Civic FC with honda sensing.
But mine does not go as crazy as above video tho. it just blip a few time saying its close to object.

My video blink like hell because the camera sampling rate is not fast enough vs the LCD refresh rate...to my eyes it is also just a few times, maybe 1 time per 2-3 seconds beep.

Hi buddy, for 18inchi is 35psi front snd 33psi rear? I tot just follow the guide beside the door? Or that guide is just standard for all varient spec included e and v spec?

Correct - their RS spec is 17 inch rims, but with full 10.2” digital cluster screen (i would’ve preferred this). Their 17” RS rims are the same design with our 17” V spec rims, but RS theme is blacked out rims.

If i’m not mistaken, 32psi / 220kpa is the same recommended tyre pressure for all E, V, and RS spec tyres. Not sure how Honda engineers calculate, when Mazda 3 similar body weight and tyre dimensions has higher recommended pressure. I do know from experience that higher pressure (when driving out from dealer until I refilled the tyres) would return harsher drives. Didn’t notice any difference in handling though, but I don’t drive on the track la… some spirited driving and taking fast corners only.

Hi all, I’m about to book my FE but I’m still in dilemma on which spec to go for. RS or V. Test drove my brother’s RS and found that the tyre noise were a bit too loud to my liking. Is the V spec better in term of tyre noise?
