How or what do you mean the male ran away?

Izit you bought her with the joeys in the pouch?

It's good if she has a companion to help her raise the joeys but I'm not sure if it will work well with new female companion, meaning if they have not really gotten along long enough...

Try and do some reading and research to be prepared.

I got them with joeys in pouch, the cage wasn't locked properly so the male ran away.
Not gonna introduce her to any other gliders yet.
I'm keeping her alone by herself till her joeys are out and able to be on their own.
hehe, did all the reading already. No worries

I see...

But if you also read, they need a companion to raise a joey. They don't normally do it alone. Cuz when the mother goes out to eat, the male will usually stay and keep the joeys warm. When the male goes to eat, the mother pulak stay and keep the joeys warm. Cuz if the joeys are left alone during the first 2 weeks they are OOP, they will cry looking for their parent.

I'm just worried that the mother will get stressed or depressed raising the joeys alone...

We don't want any reject case to happen...

That was my concern.

Wah, use red light. His whole room light red, like those rooms for developing films.

Yea, it will look like those room where ppl develope films.
Those lights won't hurt their eyes, plus they'll play happily there so u can observe n play together.

I agree and i'm concerned bout that too but tehre's nothing i can do other than to help her care for her joeys when they r out.
If i were to introduce a new male or female, i'm almost 100% sure she will canibalise her joey.
It happened before.
Thanks for your concern

Jtl has muffins safe for dogs, should be alright for gliders since no salt, no sugar and no preservatives, made with natural stuff. But cannot order the banana and cheese lor, the rest seem fine.

Neh, but minimum order of 12. sleep.gif;

Update on Cheekoo

Dear All, I just got back from the vet that Reanne had suggested. *at the interviewer office rite now*
From the consultation, she just said that cheekoo just lacking of protein n fatty acid. Protein for the cell building and fatty acid for silky fur.
Other than that she said they both look like sum healthy joey. Just need to varied their source of protein and all.
Thanks Reanne!

But personally i think Cheekoo is getting better coz his fur had already grown back. only not as long and as bushy as Koochee's.
N guys, cat or dog treat that u usually give is eagle pack n origen rite? At the vet just now, she got only the eagle pack for dogs.
I'm afraid to buy that one coz there is a source from pork. Being a muslim, i dun think its appropriate for me to handle it. *No offense k guys*
Im wondering if the cat one or the origen the same?

Another thing is the nutrien that the vet suggested has some soybean oil in its ingredient. Is it safe for the glider?
