hello, yesterday i bought canidae lamb and rice for ben and roxy.unfortunately,i couldnt go to the shop i usually go to coz they were closed.but both of them love canidae.only bought small packet for them to try.later will get eagle pack for them....

If your dogs like canidae, stick to it at least 4-6wks then you will only see the effect on your dogs fur.. Canidae claims to improve skin and coat. If they like I dont see a reason for you to change to eagle pack. For me, canidae is better then eagle pack wor.. hmm.gif

Went to Dr. Mervin (Hand's n Paws) today for my Boy Boy's last vaccination. He said that it doesn't make sense if dog's kibble are meant more all life stages. I am feeding him Canidae, but before this eukanoba. He said that because different life stages require different nutrition. How could Canidae able to supply the same amount of nutrition?

What do you guys think?

I think all life stage dog food's premise is that dogs in the wild are not able to distinguish between puppy and adult food. There are many thoughts about this matter. It really depends on the individual owners. I feed my dogs Canidae.

hi guys,i am now feeding my dogs proformance lamb and rice.unfortunately, they dislike canidae.and from what i've heard from other forums, canidae has outsource their supply to Diamonds to produce for them as well.so the quality may be affected lor. my dogs don't like it so i change to proformance and i'll stick to it since they loved it a lot..

My goodness.. where do you get the source saying Canidae made by Diamonds? Diamonds are not good food, contain a lot fillers.. can PM me what's the forum? tongue.gif Just wanna k-poh.

About all life stage, I have no objection to it. IF you look properly into the ingredient of puppy food and adult food of same brand, same flavour, they are exactly the same. Just that % of protein is different. If your puppy needs more protein, just feed more lor laugh.gif

I'm feeding my fifi acana for like 4 months, found that she's having smelly tear stains 2 months ago. Anyone got experience that?
From the ingredients of Acana, consist of yeast extract, suspect is that. anyone can confirm that? or anyone experience that?

Planning to change to BW5000 after the current pack finishes, no yeast.

It seems that Canidae really out-sourcing by reading the GR forum.. hmm don't know if its good or not. Just read the ingredient of their new formula, more type of grain is added but they claim the quantity is lower then the previous, and the meat increased. Type of meat also increased.

No comment, I'm not feeding Canidae already, due to the price and availability...

hey there,js wanna say something.regardless high or low end food, they need lots of water.now the weather is so hot, they tend to get thirsty.my ben keeps drinking water every 2 hours even not on food.dry food is pretty dry and can be heaty as well.so providing clean water will ensure them to be healthy too.

I know lah.. but he say like that, say like eat high end food need more water.. like high end food more salty tongue.gif

Cause as far as I concern, the more good food they eat, the lesser water they take. =)
