The rear seats for the Vios really sucks man, a Myvi rear legroom and comfort even bette thant the Vios.

Seated once in a friends car, really terrible experience.

I also cant understand why a friend of mine from TVCM, wanna modify such a car, not like it can fly or so.

ehhh... u talking bout the old vios or the new vios rear seat spacing?

It is a 90% must I would say. I nag them and they finally let me use semy-syn (as selected on the job sheet). But the foreman inside use mineral instead. WTF?!  Now I'm after 2nd service and I lazy to ask for better oil already.
*
err...just asking...how did you know the foreman used mineral? And did they charge you for semisynthetic or mineral?

Wow....

I just got my vios less than a month ago.
Last Wednesday, i came out to find my tyres on the left side of my car punctured...when i checked the caps, somebody put stones in them for the air to come out. On the right side, the back tyre was missing the cap. I suspected whoever it was, was also gonna let go air until someone chased them off i think. Is it possible that this was done to steal the tyres? Just asking...

btw, after dat i went to a tyre shop for those guys to double check my tyres see got other things (e.g. nails n stuff) puncturing the tyres.. luckily nothing...

but noob question here, if the tyre shop ppl had to dismantle the tyres to check and then fix it back, do I have to rebalance the tyres?

Did you guys use the ordometer (aint sure if the spelling correct, but I'm referring to the digital distance calculator on the dash board)?? I have a practice where I reset and record the distance I travel after pumping petrol to my car so that I could know exactly how much I could travel with that amount of petrol I fuelled in.

I always practice using A and B... then the issue came to my notice, both A and B add up together even though I only activate the meter A. For example, I reset the meter B now after I pumped fuel (with meter A keeping the record) and start to travel and what I notice is meter A still running even though I only activate meter B. Anyone has this issue ??
*
Don't really get you here...as far as i know, both meters will still run regardless what you do to it...

i got Vios E Enhanced..so far din notice noise yet...dunno la.may be later

i got question for all Vios brothers here..i bought one brake lock...the name very fancy wan...UnBreakable Autolock...to lock Brake for Auto cars....Red in Color....apparently can't lock my Vios brake well...very loose...but my fren kenari have no problem...anyone know technique to lock?...what lock are you guys using?....Steering lock?...

may be i too sayang my car already..until dun dare to pull harder to lock the brake....try to pull hard but ended up loose also....tongue.gif
*
Hey changshen,

FYI, you have to adjust the lock a bit...it only fully locks in certain positions, so u have to move it around until when u press the brake pedal, the brake lights do not come out. I know, coz i have it too...takes me a few minutes some times to find the right position...

Dun worry about your brakes...it's the hardest part in the interior of the car....so it won't get broken/sawed off.

wow...that consumption is quite bad. U floor the pedal ar?

Normally for my city driving, by the time I reach 350km, I still have 2 more bars to go...

Highway well...better consumption if you dun floor it...too much...

hey guys,

wanna check if anybody encountered this problem,

I drive most of the time in KL city (coz of work). The thing is, whenever it rains, puddles of water appear and they are slightly deeper than wat u normally get.

When i drive my car through, my battery light comes up. After a while it goes off. But does this mean the undercarriage is very exposed? Or is this kinda normal?

the 3000 rpm for 100km/h.. is it at 4th gear or 5th gear?

if i'm not mistaken for manual tranny, the ratios for 3rd, 4th gear is shorter than the auto's ratio for 3rd and 4th gear...

might be the reason y...

but den again, i'm no mechanic...
