hey mind you 15-20k is alot of money for some people. Anyway,85 grand for that 1.5 is simply not worth it. I really would rather get a Suzuki swift CKD with that kinda amount of money and with balance to spare!

repeat: how will u expect people with limited budget for vios ("overrated 1.5 car..this car is meant for asian budget car market") can fork out the "additional top ups" to "settle" for civic?


i suppose they are rich in cash... thus always can top up a few Rm10k to get what they prefer...

they already set thier eyesight at the "civic's level"... anything below that is CHEAP & PATHETIC...

using the same mentality, i "really would rather get a Proton Persona with that kinda amount of money and with balance to spare!"...

If 15 to 20k is alot of money for some people, heck they won't even get the small overrated Suzuki Swift when they can get a bigger Persona with lesser money.

Any pics of the interior? Is there an ON/OFF ENGINE button inside? Looking forward for this ride.

no manual? Oh crap~ but i think the performance for this new vios will slightly suffer due to heavy weight as compare with previous model
what cheapo stuff u mean? And Civic is another level up from VIOS so i don't think u can compare it directly unless you're comparing it with altis then i would agree with you to settle in a civic or a lancer gt2.0 but that still doesn't mean there's cheapo stuff in altis

Each and everyone has their own capability.. i'm not rich but my dream is a Altezza but i settle down for a vios cause that's the car within my budget and capability to own it.

And you mentioned that not rich enough people but insist on branded thing~ if already have to struggle due to "face" and buy a vios.. would they have that kind of money to throw in another 15-20K for altis?

Vios already reached my high spec(money Max)....
somehow if you compare like this....why don't you compare these sequence?
Vios ---> Artis ---> Camry ---> Wish ---> Estima ---> .....---> Volvo ---> BMW ---> Merc........
Just add some more and some more.......

just leave those people alone & save ur breath...

depend on how much you want to loan.... more higher you loan and more long time you pay (7-9year), then the interest will low....
mostly will less than 2.7%.
But not good suggestion that you loan >60k and pay back in 7-9years.
Calculate....that say you loan 60k and pay back in 7 years with interest 2.5%.
Total you need to pay = (60,000 x 2.5% x 7) + 60,000 = 70,500
Monthly installment = 70500/84 = 839.29
Your car value = 70,500 + 20,000 = RM90,500

Yeah cheapo stuffs doesn't mean unreliable but super el-cheapo stuffs with jacked up super profit generated margin by our local vendors, hmm I rather avoid the latter, brings back the broken power windows memories

People have priorities, some of us have commitments in property investment, hard saving, unit trusts and etc.

Money makes more money. Once the capital built up, I rather buy a house in Melbourne rather than flashing mediocre class car like civic/altis/lancer. When the time comes a beemer or merc is more rewarding replacing my Nipponese tin can.

Only four color to choose from: Silver, gray, black, gold/brown.

All have 60/40 foldable rear seats if I'm not wrong, otherwise (if follow Singapore) it is only available in >= G.

S comes with spoiler and (I think) bodykit.

overall interior looks nissan latio sports wins hands down, the only advantage the new vios have is the flashy meter

my limited understanding...
optitron refers to the back ilumination of the meter... not accosiating with either analogue or digital...
