Sorry guys, personal opinion... the interior look of the new Vios is damn ugly.

Fork in 3.3k more u get dark grey seats + optitron meter + bodykit.

Saw it in Bangkok over the weekend. Quite nice car from the outside but wait till you see the new Altis.

I was informed that the launching date is 19th October. Dunno whether its true or not.

the cheapest estimated is 79k

but got ABS, EBD, BA and dual airbags ... pay more to get more

is this the yaris sedan that is label as the new vios ? cant seem to find the pic in the official website.

Sources from motortrader says it will be released on 19 of Sept. Seing they released the price earlier than the pics of the cars, i believe it should be released this month.

Price difference isnt much far away from the current vios though.

Yes this is based on Yaris. In Japan it called as Belta.

RM79K E specs w/o ABS rite just 1 airbag same as the current Vios specs?

The previous vios E has only one single air bag and no ABS/EBD. This time toyota is generous to provide ABS/EBD to all new vios models.

will the current old vios price dropped?

Juz search for Vios and found that the new version E specs will hv the ABS (front) and dual airbags compare to existing E specs with 1 airbag...

Maybe...but should be limited stock.
Coz it already stop manufacturing that model quite sometime alr.

Maybe my sentence will offence some Vios owner, sorry if making any misleading. . . not rich enough people does not mean they are poor, at least they are more richer then those proton car owner. . . an overrated car does not mean it is a bad car also, just like if Civic 2.0 is selling for RM150K or Accord 2.4 is selling for RM200K, do you think it is still a [good car] to purchase for??

Actually what I want to tell is Toyota know their advantages in the market, good reputation, even they mark up the price for some of their car modal (Vios, at least from my point of view), they know people still will buy it one, and this is also becoz the 1.5L cc car market section is not competative as the 1.6/1.8/2.0 one since Nissan/Mazda/Mitsubishi does not have any modal in this range for the past few years.

according to UMW's website the E still has only 1 airbag.
