It is god damn expensive. Just ported in from yoodo.

Never noticed how expensive are calls until today.

Anyway to save on calls? Maybe another prepaid plan with another number??
*
I recommend another prepaid plan for calling. This is what I do.
unifi mobile is RM20 for 200 minutes.
This 200 minutes is charging in 1 sec block and it last until you finish it (make sure you keep your line active)

If you call a lot
Digi have a BOS which RM8 for unlimited call for 30 days. (But I not sure if you can get it every month)

Use whatsapp/WeChat voice/video call. FOC but consume data.

In old days, still available today if I am not wrong, buy calling card eg italk card (previously Ring Ring card) from Telekom, use mobile to call 1800 (FOC) first, then make phone call from italk (the tariff is definitely cheaper than 30 Sen/min). Other VOIPs eg Time Gold should have died now.
*
yeah, thanks for the heads up. will look into italk for my 2nd sim card.

Not to dispute your opinion or offend you, I have been told that whatsapp calls and etc are considered as non-urgent calls & unimportant. Some people even take it damn seriously like if that person is calling him/her via whatsapp, that person will never pick up the call. He/she told me... if it is important, you spend that money to call la. No money dont call according to him/her hahaha

QUOTE(wilson1stop @ Feb 11 2022, 10:17 AM)
Normal lah, PAYU charges for Digi/Hotlink...
Get hybrid plan la if support dual-sim, data Hotlink, call Yoodo
*
yes bro, hahaha i ported out from yoodo is due to the instability of the telephone line and data.

Coverage at my workplace is bad as well. So far, hotlink is good everywhere for coverage with good price for data. but calls a bit LOL

Thanks for the recommendation.

I think rm 30 extra just for calls is a bit too expensive.

Yoodo was a good balance between calls and data with a good price but coverage was shyt

Unfortunately, me was not the Minister in-charged... Else, me will force Hotlink to give compensation to their customers for changing Hidden Agendas within one year... LOL...

Now, must reload RM10 every month...

RM10 mean become RM120 commitment annually already.
So what are the alternative solution from other telco?
I'm using it for my father keeping his data line alive je.

RM120 Hotlink credit still yours!
Buy 1GB @ RM2 for 365 days, and the balance can be used to buy Lazada, Shopee, Grabfood, F&B vouchers.

No need to reload every month. Follow steps below:

1st February = Reload RM10 = get 30 days SIM Validity. At the same time, buy 5GB/365 days LTE quota. Credit becum zero now.

2nd March = Reload RM10 = get 30 days SIM Validity. Continue using remaining 5GB LTE quota. Credit is now RM10.

2nd April = Reload RM10 = get 30 days SIM Validity. Continue using remaining 5GB LTE quota. Credit is now RM20.

2nd May = Reload RM10 = get 30 days SIM Validity. Continue using remaining 5GB LTE quota. Credit is now RM30.

1st June = no need reload but just buy RM30 to get 365 days SIM Validity. Continue using remaining 5GB LTE quota. Credit is now zero.

1st July = no need reload and continue using 5GB LTE quota until depleted.

1st August = no need reload and continue using 5GB LTE quota until depleted.

1st September = no need reload and continue using 5GB LTE quota until depleted.

1st Oct = no need reload and continue using 5GB LTE quota until depleted.

1st Nov = no need reload and continue using 5GB LTE quota until depleted.

1st Dec = no need reload and continue using 5GB LTE quota until depleted.

1st January 2023 = no need reload and continue using 5GB LTE quota until depleted.

20th January 2023 = MNP-o to OneXOX non-Black for 28 months SIM validity... LOL...

the 30 days grace period is a bit too short. Better to subscribe to 365 days validity.

Sometimes, we can be too busy or distracted, maybe on holiday etc, may forget to reload to keep hotlink pantas, and the number can be lost that way.

My opinion.

yes. its depend on user
- buy 365, if want to avoid the hassle of topup and checking expire date for whole year, or if u just want this number to be active without using it for keeping the number without being terminated by telco.

OR

topup rm10 every month, if you want to save rm30 per year, can use that money elsewhere. i remember last time i always set reminder on my phone to topup. but sometimes ignore it and left me with inactive line and without internet when im going outside laugh.gif
