Hi guys, looking for laptop recommendation. I am a Mac guy so i’m clueless about Windows laptop

1. Budget : MAX. RM2,500
2. Usage : University/studies/casual use. No gaming/video editing involve
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) :

- main priority would be reliability, as might want to have the laptop to stay with her until finish study (estimate 4 years)
- best if can get 15inches
- buying for niece
- she gonna enrol to Uni in a few months

Hi Im finally looking for a laptop after 6 years, thus will need some recommendation.

1. Budget : RM3k-RM4k (Plus minus, can go a little higher if it is worth it)
2. Usage : Web browsing, watching videos, some excel sheets, photo editing with lightroom/photoshop, simple video editing and no gaming.
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) :
- Display Size - 14inch would be nice. Plan to get a monitor in the future, so not too particular.
- Battery Life - No preference
- Weight - I would prefer something that is not too heavy as I do carry around occasionally.

Additional Note : No brand preference (other than Acer). 8GB Ram with SSD storage would be nice with decent color accuracy. I did consider Macbook Air (M1) but I've never used a Mac before.

I browse around and found these 3 laptop, is it any good?

- Honor MagicBook X15 i3 (RM2299)
- Huawei Matebook D15 i3 (RM2699)
- Acer Swift 3 AMD Ryzen 5 4500U (RM2799)

Might be able to top up a bit if it’s worth the money for the Huawei/Acer

can take a look at Ideapad 5 Pro 14 (with coupon), though there are tons of options at this price range
if you want to buy now, can consider Ideapad Gaming 3 (2021) with 3060 GPU (with coupon)
if your budget is strictly RM2.5k, either Magicbook X15 or Matebook D15 (should be under RM2.5k unless it's out of stock), but the i3 CPU is not that fast, also RAM cannot be upgraded, 256GB storage might be small

As I am new to this I would appreciate as much help as possible, tq all.

lol why no dell? their after sales service is one of the better ones around.

Budget RM 3000-3500
Requirements: Ram at least 8gb
SSD at least 512GB
processor powerful enough for uni students with casual gaming, eg Ryzen 5500U should be fine
edit if come with MIcrosoft office will be nice
