hi all! looking for a new ultrabook, main priority is that the device has to be thin and light as possible, with decent enough specs for casual use.
budget: RM5k MAX usage: microsoft office, movie streaming, web browsing waiting period: depends on whether the ultrabook recommended is worth waiting for i've already shortlisted the Acer Swift 5 and Huawei Matebook 14 R5 2021, wondering if there's any other recommendable ultrabooks that i've missed out? thanks! |

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Aug 14 2021, 10:44 PM) thanks for the reference. i've gone through it and noticed most of the laptops are out of stock or unavailable, like the Huawei Matebook 14 (i5-1135G7) for example.any of the ultrabooks within the 4-5k budget in particular that's worth waiting for? i guess if i'm paying >RM4k would be nice to have 16GB of RAM, especially since there are options within that price range with16GB of RAM. unless there's an ultrabook with 8GB of RAM that's better then the ultrabook with 16GB of RAM in a few other aspects then maybe can compromise. |

Hi guy. My fiancee is looking for a new laptop since her macbook is dying. So her requirements are as follows;
Budget: Maximum RM5k. If can get cheaper then all the better. Usage: Photoshop / Illustrator / XD / Gaming a little Plus points: - Not too hot when running - Good battery life - Big HDD space Brands: Not partial to any brand. I think that's all. Anything else can ask me. Thank you very much! |
