Imo normally mid-range (8800GTS 320MB) of 3Dcard series doesnt drop price as obvious as higher-range ones.

As i noticed at NVNEWS posts..

err dont think so ultras are dropping

heck the lastes msi oc ultra is around us 559...
even evga cards u can get the ultra superclocked around the same

so guess the normal cards should be around 525??

also the source is from pricegrabber.. which is usually wrong...

heck u should check their so called prices of rams...

Got a question for u guys about the SLi setup...

Lets say if I buy a 8800GTX from ASUS and the other from XFX...can use those two to run SLi or not?

If so , is it stable?

yes possible.... forumer VT-Ten did it with an Asus + an XFX

now he running both XFX though.

ianho is running his GTX SLI with MSI+Forsa.

so mixing brands is fine....as long as the core is the same (i.e GTS+GTS) its ok...diff core/mem speed oso not a problem...can still be done.

BUT....not sure about GTS320mb + GTS640mb though tongue.gif

actually I don't quite get it why ppl SLI those 8800GTS or a 8600...

if SLI a GTX or Ultra is okay...

instead of spending 2x of the gts, might as well invest in single ultra...

you will do mother earth more justice.....

by the way, when u wan to get a SLI with low cost, and u'r already hv a 8600gts, u wont say any GTX or ultra SLI
thats the reason why GC have lots of model, low cost and high cost, for attract more ppl to buy their products.
if u'r rich boy, then u can buy ultra straightly for SLI. tongue.gif
