It won't overkill. Whether do you really need that much of RAM or not. I do video editing and converting and also running VMware with 3 virtual machines (Windows 10, Windows 11 and Kali Linux) for my lab testing purposes. On gaming, 16GB and 32GB not much different.

32 GB won't overkill, if you run also VM, anytime you can reach near maximum. This include the new feature of Windows Subsystem for Android.

Also with 32 GB you no need worried any apps not enough RAM issue. It simply perfect size now.

You are welcome. For normal usage very unlikely to reach basically. smile.gif
Virtual environment is the part that needs a lot of RAM.

Guys if using window 10 free, the one with the watermark on the bottom right, cannot upgrade to window 11? Bcs it says PC don't meet window 11 requirements at the window update there but I'm using a i5 8400.
If the answer is cannot, is it ok to stay on window 10, will it still be getting security updates???

Can upgrade. You just need to bypass TPM check. There are steps by steps tutorial available on Youtube you can follow on.

Doesn't matter. He using non-license copy (watermark on right hand bottom corner) of Windows 10. rolleyes.gif Home user usually doesn't care for support to Microsoft too. Still many using Windows 7 at home. I just recently help my dad format his Windows XP laptop and reinstall Linux on it.
