Yes, you can upgrade existing Windows 10 to Windows 11 for free.

Yes, most of the hosted ISO files has been removed. Everytime a new Windows is coming sure there is the ISO files leaked. Ofcoz Microsoft is not happy before it leak before the official announcement.

From what I know, in order to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11, you require to have Microsoft Account as it will retrieve product key from your Microsoft Account to verify whether it is genuine key.

More hardware support will be added into TPM 2.0 to make it support more motherboard by time it is officially release. Current TPM 2.0 is only with limited motherboard database. I install the development version without any problem on my old laptop too even thought TPM 2.0 show fail.

Basically, if you don't own a PC then what is the point of worrying about installing Windows 11 and the license, right? Is very practical, if you know about how Office 365 license work. Let's say a company bought 100 license, and the IT personnel assign this 100 license out to 100 employee. Once the employee left, the PC can simply reformat and the IT personnel can just delete that particular person account from online. So that company will have 99 license in use and 1 license free to assign to any new employee.

Even AutoCAD start to apply on this method for their license.

A new era must use the new method of licensing. This is motivation move for technology and human living style to move forward to more advance future.

Yes, this is way to work around it but you won't be able to capture and transfer your Windows 10 product key directly into your new Windows 11 PC. The Microsoft Account thing is just let you auto transfer the product key and do activation easier. Once your skip it, your Windows won't activate and you need to manual activate it with the genuine product key.

Windows 7 not yet applying this method. I believe Windows 8 and 8.1 they start applying this concept.

MAC is way much more expensive than PC. That's why we stick with PC. A normal mid-end spec AMD PC cost around RM4000+ while with same spec for MAC would cost you RM9000+.

Is not we don't want to shift to MAC is because of the costing.

I tested the new M1 to compare with my mid-end spec AMD PC, running on Adobe Premiere Pro. M1 will be laggy while processing the video while my PC is running smoothly. Mac M1 will have a way to go on catching up the performance.

Lucky I didn't bought Mac or else I be very regret now in term of cost and performance.

I like Mac is when you turn off the application, it free up 100% memory of the application took up when it was running. While on Windows-based PC, it did not free up the memory 100%. That's while after long hours of running our PC will becoming laggy while Mac don't have this issue. Linux also won't have this issue. Not sure what is the reason while Windows having this issue.

I'm using operating system since MS DOS to Windows 3.11 to Windows Me to Windows XP to Windows 2000 to Windows Vista to Windows 8.1 to Windows 7 to Windows 10 and now testing on Windows 11. Running on Linux Red Hat, Ubuntu and Kali. MacOS would be one of the best and most user friendly OS. Most powerful OS still Linux kick a$$.

Wait for official release. I tested a few bugs and some software won't work properly in Windows 11.

I believe there is a lot of processes running in background on your Windows. With AV and VMware and some other processes running in background and foreground, my RAM usage within 4GB only. Your 7~8 GB is not normal. By the way, I running 32 GB RAM system with VMware running in background.

For some reason the 22000.160 build has been removed. Now only available for download was 22000.132 build.

You can install 22000.132 build then run Windows update to 22000.168 build (latest as today).

I'm sure there would be someone figuring out the way to crack thru it and allow Windows Update to run without any restriction even hardware spec doesn't meet the minimum requirements.

I doubt it would be able to run Windows 10 too. With your spec, I suggest you to use Linux.

No point to crack and force install the OS and run like turtle. Right?

I still use Chrome most of the time. Much lightweight a bit but the latest Edge was pretty awesome. So I use both of them. Firefox very less using them unless need to test something.

Latest Edge was better than Chrome now in term of features and capabilities.

Ofcoz on my virtual machine running on Windows 11 is only using Edge.

Not surprising at all. Windows 8, 8.1, 10 and 11 was the same. Smartphone and tablet compatible.

The Paint app look the same old Paint to me.
