If you want to stay in a condo, try to stay in a place where the flooring is thick. Some condos have thick flooring. But the newer ones are thin because they want to save costs.

That's why most want to stay in landed property, don't have to worry about above tenants noise. Some bought the top floor or pent house because of this too.

I totally agree with what you say, ghost my ass, all these are done by human. And yes my current place is rumahwip, the flooring is thin. Upstairs prick say "got ppl stay that's why got noise ma", but no one ask u to keep dragging the chair for nothing.

If its a normal human, the dragging sound will be very short. No one dragging chair so long just to get up. Usually when people complaint the dragging sound is long and very annoying, is like someone really dragging a chair just to annoy you. But it is not because it is a water hammer sound.

Well some people even cannot tahan the "dragging" sound when people stand up
