All Astro Movies pack customers already been forced to pay extra RM5 per month because they are eligible for Disney+ Hotstar, even thought they don't use/want/aware of it.

The only way to "escape" from the RM5 increment, is to cancel Movies pack altogether, which means you'll lose access to CH411-416. Whoever subscribe or resubscribe to Movies pack now, will have 1 year contract on Movies pack alone.

i though need to enroll or "subscribe" to that DHS and by then only need to pay the RM5.
i check the bill for this month, no change wor

As long your Astro subscription has Movies pack, then you will see RM5 increment regardless whether you activate the Disney+ Hotstar or not.
Then wait for next month's bill. sweat.gif

If it were for me, I won't.
Until the real and legit Disney+ (not Disney+ Hotstar) launches in Malaysia, then I'll reconsider.

This is my experience with Disney+ Hotstar after being subscribed for 1 month+:

1) Extreme stuttering when streaming online with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e. Issue goes away when I download and watch them offline — however not all shows are available for offline download. No issues so far with my Samsung S20+.
2) The service doesn't remember correctly where you stopped watching and will not resume correctly either on the same device or another device. Only works like 25% of the time.
3) Lack of profile so movie/shows preferences are all over the place and history gets all jumbled up.
4) The lack of English subtitles on many English shows are also an inexcusable offense as there are many people who are hearing-impaired and would like to read subtitles in English.

The only saving grace for the app is its world-class contents but their app and overall interface needs a major rework in order to be competitive in the market.
I will definitely stop after my 3 months of subscription are up and stay off of them until either they figure out a way to overhaul everything, or just switch to the proper Disney+ experience instead which I heard has a lot less problems.

For subtitle, if you are using chrome or firefox, you can download an extension called Substital, then you can either get it to search for subtitle online or use your own SRT file. It helps some though censorship on some titles will make the subtitle out of sync at some places and then you have to adjust it.

Might work if I'm watching shows by myself but most of the time I'm watching it on my TV via Chromecast or my tablet so it's not really useful for me.
I'm very sure most of these shows already have an English subtitle. Just wondering why Disney+ Hotstar decides not to include them in the service but makes sure it has BM in them.
