Reason not to continue subscribe to hotstar
Hotstar is shitty version of Disney plus for 3rd world country like India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the pure Disney plus only available on those developed country, No 4K HDR, No Atmos surround, no Disney plus premier access, no Chinese/Indian subtitles, all the good thing only available on pure Disney plus. So much disappointment, Hotstar so much different than the pure Disney plus, stick to the Netflix and also looking forward to HBO max

Yes please.... Kill off the Hotsh*t branding and move to standalone Disney+.
We would love to have the Disney bundles (Hotstar+, ESPN+, Hulu) to be launch in SEA region including Malaysia, but I think it's not going to be anytime soon, and might takes years from now for it to happen... 😢😢

Hotstar was originally introduced in India, so technically it's not Disney 'creates Hotstar'...
Anyhow, it seriously doesn't make sense to me that Disney wants to bring that Hotstar branding to other third world countries including Malaysia

Well, if company want to bring product into Malaysia, they need consider their products is that conflict within Malaysia company one, likes movie, sport, drama broadcast right.
also need to identify Malaysian market, bring ESPN also waste money, our favourable sport most is EPL or UEFA

just because you guys don't watch local content doesn't mean other also don't watch. I am sure Disney have done their feasibility study and decided that bringing in the original Disney+ will not increase viewership.

I have both Disney+ Hotstar and international Disney+ (Singapore account).
Actually if you want to talk about local Asian content, the Singapore D+ does not have any. In fact, here is where D+ Hotstar wins out, but loses in every other aspects lol

Here’s short review on it

Pros of D+Hotstar
- App on the AppleTV is ok. Not great but better than the built in one from my LG TV app.

Cons of D+Hotstar
- where are the English subtitles for most of the older movies and series?
- lacking feature such as GroupWatch (watching movie with another friend on D+ which is available on the ori D+)

I just kinda wish we got the Original International Disney+ because I don’t even watch the local contents and the lack of features mentioned above is huge bummer to me.
