A lot better, but occasionally ipv6 routing will go haywire for me.
Just like 2 days ago, some website got routed to France

certain TM ip prefix got loss packet issue over cloudflare SG as for now.

and ingress traffic via AS6939 (Hurricane Electric)over US WEST at peak hours this two days also got issue loss packet.

IPv4 So far so good.
Just some latency spikes at night to some SG network only.
But confirm better than May 2021.

IPv6 not sure,my mikrotik router currently cant get IPv6 address,so i just use IPv4 only wait until Mikrotik fix it.

another bad routing from AS174 (Cogent) and AS6461 (Zayo) from US west to via Marseille to TM also.. high latency every-time 270ms to 320ms

since TM have AS174 (Cogent) over HKG why need change traffic from EU ? what i notice both cogent uplink either HKG or Marseille are highly Qos

and side note i hope TM will stop announcing AS6461 (Zayo) traffic for US becos high latency

not related. instagram/facebook have their own infrastructure backbone they not connecting public transit like others only possible the local cache server sometime having congestion or your dns point you to other region like SG/HKG that TM have slow connectivity towards.

I think so, because I got 30 days promo speed upgrade trial to 300 Mbps SMS at 15 November 2021 and today 17 December suddenly its so slowed down. I dont even notice that I didnt get email (i usually checked inbox mail) since last night lol.

Lol, so we are same boat, 30M, free upgrade 100M, then slowed down today midnight.
They really have a crappy QoS, I guess it is like this.

1. Multi-user, open port for connection take long time, old issues since Streamyx
2. Unlike Streamyx QoS implement based on public IP, not private IP, so you are sharing the QoS with others. like 10M only for CloudFlare HK, then dropped to whatever users are using, like 30 users then 10M / 30.

Else, unable to explain why public IPv6 are affected.

I recommend you to make a report, more report related to private IP, much quicker on fixing the issues.

TM to Equinix SG got issue.. nothing to do with QOS

Can be, I am doing testing to see how muck going to Equinix now, but most of the thing are broken, Lazada, Taobao, Tencent, CloudFlare HK.

It is not funny when the line broken at the same time you are getting private IP switch on, failed to know it is the private IP or the global exchange, even my UniFi are self test and UniFi Portal are broken, live chat with CS jitter in between 0.1s - 2s...
Are they not hosted on Malaysia?

TM to Equinix SG my ping is 25ms - 30ms with loss packet

Equinix SG back to TM only 13ms to 16ms no loss packet


Cloudflare HK already got issue in the past week traffic from HK to TM.

now even Cloudflare KL POPs also having loss packet at my side but JBIX no issue

Strange thing is, after reset port, it is fine for 1 min, 10M full QoS speed like normal, then dropped, and yes it is Equinix SG.
So it should be UniFi detect heavy drop on Equinix, and implemented heavy QoS to stop it getting worst.

For UniFi portal and self-test, it is their side problem, 500 lol...



And funny enough, it start together midnight, when the switch to Private IP are turned on.
If the switch is not happen today, I sure will confirm it is global issues, but now?

Still testing on local CDN to ensure it is really QoS issues, not something caused by Private IP switch over la..
After the switch on, my QQ are having connection drop, and teamviewer also dropped a few times, so it is very strange that it happen together.

Also they closed my report for abnormal speed, so they found nothing on their side.

Capital Online(tested on SG only) - affected

Lazada(SG Aliyun, exchange are blackhole, so unknown) - affected

Tencent(via Equinix) - affected
Tencent(directly peer exchange to TM peer) - affected
Taobao(Equinix) - affected
CloudFlare(SG or HK, via Equinix) - affected

PCCW(HK) - Unaffected, first time

Found something interesting, before that CloudFlare is HK, then redirect back to SG, but both are Equinix, so it do nothing at all.

Also good news, Tencent are having Malaysia server now, 128.1.160.x, from SG server becoming Malaysia server, no need to worry about Tencent product unable to use now, including WeChat(unsure for China Wechat which is 微信's account)

Right now is outgoing traffic to Equinix SG got problem caused congestion.

Cloudflare route is most sucks by TM, i am who not sure who keep changing the route announcement every few month.

Tencent since last year already got server for their CDN services for Malayisa POPs but hosting at TM
