Hi guys, planning to buy 65" X90L or maybe 65" A80L however still contemplating due to high price of the A80L. When you guys think the price will drop down further since Sony announced new 2024 launch. Is it a good time to buy now or wait further for price reduction? Harvey norman salesman said 65" A80L production already stopped however not so sure on this news as well. Online still selling but with fewer units

If you can get it for around 8k, it’s about there. I think now it’s clearing stocks for A80L to move to Bravia 8.

Bought the Sony 43X75K in July 2022 and last month I noticed that there is a burn-in mark on the panel within 1 year 8 months ++ usage. Contact the Sony hotline number and they arrange for the technician to come and change the panel for FOC. The technician told me that it was a watermark burn-in and told me that they do not cover the warranty for this if this thing happens next time. I wonder what would have happened if this burn-in mark appeared after the 2-year warranty 🥲... Luckily this thing happened within the warranty period. I asked for the panel manufacturer and he mentioned that it is from China. This is an IPS-based Direct LED panel so I wonder if it is a BOE, Chimei, TCL or Taiwan-based AUO panel. Does anyone know what panel Sony uses on their LCD TV... If let's say I buy the Sony OLED A80 series as my next TV does it have a susceptible burn in or dead pixels?

My Oct 2021 X65J just died on me, kindly advise where in Subang or SAlam to repair? Out of warranty

My 1 year+ A80J is starting to acting up, now it sometimes won't turn on and had to power cycle it first before it will turn on, few times already but not always, so I can't really replicate it if I get the Sony tech to come in.
Anyone experienced it before?

The technician at SS2 (same row with sportstoto) claimed the problem with the panel but can be repair at about $540. Since I’m not familiar what can be the known issue with panels that’s still repairable? Have ask him but he hasn’t reply

Lastly will the picture quality be affected after the repair?

Sony QC these years really so bad eh ?

Like the breakdown or faulty cases keep increasing

my friend's first gen A1 OLED is still kicking strong today, whereas many have poor experience with Sony's recent years lineup, most doesn't seems to last long, lots of complaints on reddit

mine seems to be ok for now after I've fiddled with some of the power saving settings, auto off from default 8 hours to 2 hours, and also have totally turn off Bravia Link
Still under warranty until 2025, and another year of SenQ warranty after that, just hope if it wanna die, please die within the warranty period
