finally decided to grab the 55" A80J.

previously my 50" LED Full HD tv was stroke by the lightning and GG.com

stuck with my 32" more than 10 years tv for more than one year.

finally buying a new one. haha.

I brought to Sony service centre to check for possible repair. They told me that the motherboard is not in production anymore so even I can pay also not repairable.

Then they said they can give 20% discount voucher for me to buy a new Sony tv if want. So I left the tv there to consider for 2 weeks then decided not collect back the tv and they just dispose for me.

is it worth it to get A80J 55-inch for rm4999 now?

Ya. I guess it is worth it still rite since the latest model 55-inch now is almost rm11k.

How to check for A80J?

I bought my 55-inch A80J. The picture quality really impressed me to the max. My first oled tv. Totally worth every cent paid for it.

Now watching movie with it makes me feel like watching in cinema or even better. Cinema is using protector anyway.

Indeed. 55-inch oled is good. I almost buy x75k 65-inch. Now totally never regret to buy 55-inch oled instead.

Icic. Becos I did not seems to be able to find the said button ‘info’ on my remote control for A80J.

But I can confirm that my A80J is a brand new set and certainly not a display or demo unit based on my unboxing experience.

I think the scary part about buying from authorised sellers is that even those big one they may not be very honest.

Recently I went to a home fair which one of the booth is selling electronic appliances and it is one of the biggest appliance shop here.

They were selling

A80J does not have this...

to be frank, high chance it is a demo set...

actually the moment u receive the box and unbox the tv, u will know if it is brand new or not already.
