wht i mean is, he point out a good reasoning said, no all product will be perform same / no consistantly of quanlity since so many heat fin there, one or 2 many broke... or rust..
i wont judge he is a spy from other company, or wht so even reason of commencial, i just note out this point, which is a good point also. plus review site sometimes cant trust also, since this review site once become famous, will attact many marketing ppl to help to promote on the site ony..
i wonder how many review site, is realy professionl ppl to test it out or just techincial or normal person, who know right smile.gif

if i buy also i base on the feel of good look to my pc, since my casing can look through inside, for show-off gua.. heheh. i mean not realy care about quality lor. who know which realy best right everyone.

that's the purpose of warranty ma

u can always 1-to-1 exchange the cooler say didn't perform expectedly

even in Thermalright website stated warranty, but i don't think the warranty covers fans, coz Thermalright didn't sell fans along with their coolers (some Thermalright model got la)

I've tested both Ultra 120E and the Ultima 90i. No doubt at all about the performance for TR. I would say, its almost certain that the stocks we getting locally are of the best quality. Each and everyone that I sold were inspected, mostly had near perfect finishing. Yet to receive any complaints. But, when sell other coolers, really shakehead when need to check the condition b4 sending out on courier or COD. Best part for the TR stuffs, their pipes never condensation, if thats what it calls to describe the phenomenan when the heatpipes turns white-ish color. Others like Thermaltake, Evercool, Coolermaster their heatpipe whether copper or nickel plated will still turn white-ish color. Irritating. vmad.gif

Very satisfied user of Thermalright Ultima-90i. My only qualms is that Thermalright should start producing fans on their own or at least, liase with a good company that does (NMB-MAT or something). If you want to personally chechk the hardware, why not go Lowyat and have a look before buying? Got mine at MyPC. Very nice folks there. Or you can get it from jy14 here. Very nice seller of which I've closed deals with on many times. (Didn't know you were selling TR stuffs until I got my Ultima-90i tongue.gif )

Bro, i think u mean oxidation? tongue.gif
Condensation is when water vapour in the air turns into water droplets when it meets colder temperature.
Anyway, i agree with what you stated.
My IFX-14 Heatpipes are still so sexy, the fins could use some soap water or vinegar or maybe coca-cola bath... tongue.gif

Agreed. JY14 is a good seller... thumbup.gif
Ultima-90i, one of the best performing 90mm heatsinks around.
Another thing, the reason why TR do not bundle fans is because they allow users to choose their own fan to match the heatsink.
Everyone has different criterias to fulfil, some wants dead silent setup, some wants powerful setup and noise is not of a problem. With TR u have the flexibility.

Me, use of TR-XP90 and TR IFX-14.
I have some issues on the IFX14 though, suspect contact not very good. Lapped, but it might be an issue of pressure.
Will try a trick shared on other forums to increase pressure on the Proc and see if anything changes.

clayclws & @meno: Thanks for the compliments. U guys were great buyers too.

@meno: Yes oxidation. haha, sorry my physics and chem thing all gave back to the lecturers oledi. haha I'm very surprise that those heatpipe can survive the oxidation while others just either bcome white for the silver color ones or bcome black for the copper.

So, quality is the word to descibe TR stuffs. Best part too is the heatsinks can b "bathed". thumbup.gif

I thought the material used to make the heatsink is "anti-oxidization"? I can see the copper (base of my IFX-14) oxidizing as I lapped it. Bad move biggrin.gif

Anti-oxidation is due to their coating. Thermalright heatpipes and base is coated with nickel which oxidise in air at high temperature.

The fins of thermalright heatsink do oxidise in air though. They are non-coated aluminium fins.

no complaints except that we cant get certain models here like the SI128 but that has nothing to do with the quality of the product itself smile.gif

i got offered for an SI-128 SE the other day from one of the bulkers...price was kinda tempting but timing was kinda bad as i had to direct the funds for a rare itemm...Logitech G15 v1 tongue.gif

i do hope it comes to local shores though...im sure my n680i would benefit from a downdraft cooler

but the IFX is so monstrous that it looks so good on the mobo....wanna change oso sayang la... laugh.gif
