@tskhang
Cut the hassle, just get a some wire strip or called wire twist ...
tie any fan that fit the size to HR-03 would be much more easier ..

QUOTE(bad melatonin @ Feb 16 2008, 07:56 AM) i need help frm all sifus here..... which 1 is better cooling.... Ultra 120 Extreme or IFX 14? thx.... I have only used Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme but based on reviews both heatsink performs almost the same. It's all up to your budget and whether or not you want or can use the backside cooler. |

using HR03GT on 6800 ULTRA, so far so good.
stock condition+120mm FAN direct blow, ambient +/- 26'C, fan noisy like 5 people typing in an office. idle:59'C, gaming:75~80'C sometimes the graphic card hang for a while because too hot. with HR03GT, ambient +/- 26'C, no fan..., only can hear the PC running quietly. idle:65'C, gaming:80 above'C, still running the game, but lag... HR03GT + 120mm FAN in constant speed around 1200rpm direct blow, you still can notice the fan running, but quieter than the stock fan. idle:55'C, gaming:~67'C just for sharing~ |

I dumped it into a bail of soap water for couple minutes and then cleaned with clean tap water ..
afterward lave on a piece of cloth and use hair dryer to vaporized water drops away ... so that it doesn't leave any water mark behind keeping it shine like a newly bought one .. |

I used hair dryer blowing hot air to dry my Noctua before. Biggest mistake i did. I touched the fins and base during drying and it oxidised. Had to use Brasso to polish the copper.

i wont judge he is a spy from other company, or wht so even reason of commencial, i just note out this point, which is a good point also. plus review site sometimes cant trust also, since this review site once become famous, will attact many marketing ppl to help to promote on the site ony.. i wonder how many review site, is realy professionl ppl to test it out or just techincial or normal person, who know right if i buy also i base on the feel of good look to my pc, since my casing can look through inside, for show-off gua.. heheh. i mean not realy care about quality lor. who know which realy best right everyone. |
