it's official receipt from government hospital at "KLINIK RAWATAN HARIAN ONKOLOGI KOMPLEKS PAKAR"
i'm quite sure my mother is not going get any plastic surgery or lipo suction at that department...

lets be fair, i been paying the Allianz insurance for decades for relieve and peace of mind...
what i get now is mind boggling and stress when trying to claim from them...

the amount is total around RM300 range for half year treatment and going there weekly...
they stated need official signature "doctor endorsement" or "treatment breakdown" for each of the receipt that cost at around RM4+ or RM50+(chemo drug)... ranting.gif

Allianz want me to ask government hospital on doctor endorsement and treatment breakdown for
weekly blood test, half day usage of hospital bed, bedding cleaning service, IV drips, chemo drug, medication, nurse, doctor...

seriously "MEMALUKAN" "DISGRACE" if Allianz claim dept want me to go waste government hospital staff time to verify...

imagine this...
Hi, please give me a detail treatment breakdown the RM4 receipt at your oncology dayward doh.gif

Wow.. simply wow...if a receipt need to be signed/verified again , then what was the use of it in the first place?

I bought medical insurance from Allianz and GE for my wife.. Yikes..

But I own a few hundred units of Allianz Malaysia Berhad too, hopefully the dividend can cover a bit the premium

insurance has its benefits if you can afford and pay...

honestly saying, it is not for the poor. Better save up on your own...

life insurance on the other hand is a much better option if one can afford- of course by then the money is not spent by yourself anymore.

All those CI and medical insurance have too much tricky wordings etc and agents as usual will say that this xyz agent did not tell u much about it etc. But the reality is the patient would want the minimun procedures and claimable when in need.

Neighbour who had an accident had to amputate his leg and guess what, the insurance company said the amputation is too low. The patient did not meet the amputation requirement for payout as it's below knee. FUHHH!!!

that kind of response- win all already. Hence he stopped all the insurance immediately. That is like the biggest scam of the century. The reason is because below knee amputation can still be fixed with prosthetic leg which is not a full disability... LEL

Insurance is , to put it simply a reverse gamble .

The thing is , you are betting with your health , or sometimes , your life that you come out on top ( Is being dead or disabled even considered coming out on top ? ) . There are tons of fine print and carefully calculated and crunched numbers to ensure the masses will never win .

Why pay to essentially , lose - lose ?

In short , i will personally not buy insurance .

Insurance is most likely of benefit to those who have very young dependants and aren't secure in their savings.

ironically that also makes insurance unaffordable to these segment of people

Sorry to hear about your neighbour.
Wow, you should ask your neighbour to post the story on FB or social media.

Or maybe just post on his behalf.

Let the public know or some pressure to the insurance company.

Is it even legal for GE to have this kind of practice?

You see their funds bid and offer price, average is 5% away. Then every year they will do some switching of your funds here and there.
You will lose 5% due to that. Is other insurance also doing this?

I canceld my GE plan few years ago after they rejected my claim (I had an injury and paid myself first before claiming as I didn't want to be warded).

I had to shoot email to their complaints department bfore I finally got my money (wasn't big total fee around RM500+). Coz I already submitted everything yet their helpdesk still say something is missing. Even my agent is baffled.

After canceled lost few K from my savings plan. Don't be like me. Stick to a good and trustworthy insurance like Prudential etc. If time to pay please pay rather than escape.

Why I chose Prudential is coz saw my wife's claims all so senang one.. claim then get as per promised. She claimed from Prudential multiple times already.
