u use finger press/knock on the panel u can't see the lcd panel lump in or distort on a lg lcd panel.

take sharp.i just take one.nice....good quality....
my friend from SenQ say,sharp never knockdown even they open for 12hour perday 7day perweek.
they exp sony samsung toshiba all knockdown after few week......

wah. so many sharp supporter. . Suggest you do a comparison. Bring your dvd and test the various shortlisted models. Your eyes should tell you what best suited for your taste.

I have a A53M and I am happy with it. PQ for Astro is good but not really outstanding. PQ on DVD especially on 1080i is up to my expectation.

true..compare with ur own eye.PQ for astro really depnd for the astro movie quality.u try HD DVD or blue ray then u see the diff.for PQ sometime have to depend for ur cable to connection also.like HDMI cable,diff cable really bring diff type of image.

agree. also try to adjust or calibrate your TV. it will bring the best out of your chosen lcd TV.

Yup, I did compare 32" for sharp, philip, panasonic and sony d300. Gotta say that the D is better than the rest even Sharp when it comes to DVD and Blue-Ray. Checked it out at Best weeks ago. But of course for Astro, I would would still prefer Sharp.

Sony is the one who fussed up with HD for all device, u think they will ask the R & D department to invest money on the anolog device?

U might wan to check the what hi-fi magazine UK for the lastest vote and demand in UK market and notice their pro and con for the devices....sony place the last comparing to the rest models, has been best voted for panasonic mk700 model in there....

just now went to HN to check out Sharp Aquos LC32A53M price....they are selling for 3499.....is this the lowest price or just the RRP? heard some of the forumer get it for 32xx/31xx.

1 year only. No HDMI cable either, but I got my Giraffe HDMI cable from Philips 5986

we think the same. we "promote" plasma more than lcd to our customers.

maybe the majority here only play games or watch bluray movies on their lcd. they don't watch astro.

i dunno if major electrical retailers display plasma and lcd tvs side-by-side. the difference is so obvious that plasma looks better.

went to best yday. panny 42 plasma v70 selling of rm4999 but come with 1 yr only. thik can further reduce.
