Haha,E2160 is slightly better because it has 1 more multiplier than E2140. HTT i'm not so sure about that...HTT is also affected by the divider one...Not really know about this HTT.

Now there is a 45nm proc from Intel having 8 cores inside with HT function. It can do 16 threads simutaniously.. In future the procs will be very cheap....

hehehe my idle temp at that time i think the lowest is 42 degrees then when load the max is 47 degrees, dont dare to oc further coz im using stock HSF ler and psu also 'ma ma tey' nia
btw i read b4 bout some ppl posting saying the P4 proc if u have the C0 u can oc max till 3.4 Ghz, if D0 max 3.6Ghz and E0 the max 3.8Ghz, are they refering to the revision in the cpu-z?

No problem. Hehe. The CO,DO,EO are the revision of the proc....I think most common one will be having the DO version.I think i'm having that DO version.

Lol.. Just away for a while then the thread is getting loaded. Yea.. Guess my 3.0E can push more if got a good PSU. Since with AkuComel already can hit 3.75Ghz.. Guess if got better one, sure np to get 4.01Ghz.

Hm.. From what i read from the article.. Most of the ppl says that D0 stepping procs are much more cooler then the previous C0. Due the pipelining of the procs has been improved so will produce lesser hit. As for mine, i was running on D0 stepping. Guess what? My idle temp on stock speed is below 36'c with Hyper6+.. My NB somehow hotter then the procs. 38'c thou. By then, i know stepping wasnt affect much thou. Mine D0 could break the 3.6Ghz barrier.

By then, might wan to sell mine rigs if i strike TOTO or 4D Magnum la! No $$ for changing.

47C load still accetable. as long as not exceeding 55C then its quite save already. but if possible, get a better hfs to cool it down. it will bring you higher also.

no....most probably is mobo, mine is not like your dlx, mine is just budget 'x' series. so lack of bios options in oc. 3.5GHz at 3:2, suck till the end. performance just a bit better than 3ghz at 1:1.

Haiz.. Bored with no o/c life.. Cant do much thing beside surfing and watch movie thou. With 3.75Gh last time only manage to keep 30fps+- for C&C3, now with stock guess will get lower than that. NO GAMING!!

actually how u measure the fps in C&C3? ur GC is limiting u only.try set lower detail like medium or low.high setting sure ur 9800 cant handle.its a 3 to 4 year old card already if i not mistaken.and resolution set 1024X768.

btw guys, wanna ask u all do u know any1 selling syncthe ninja in lyn? thinking of buying 1 b4 further oc'ing my proc

Was using ATI tools. As im using ATI card. Run it before start any game, then it will capture the fps of the game that ur running on. Yea.. The resolution were set to 600x800 with all medium setting. Hm.. The lag was cause by the system i guess.

i can honestly tell you that is not the cpu limiting you, gc is the main part. i totally agree with k!nex. i even can run it with medium detail on 1024*768 smoothly at stock. Last time i used my 2.4A 533fsb non HT oc till 3GHz.

newer card are more efficient in running latest game. many old cards are bottleneck producing the new shader stuffs. unless you are using the nvidia6 series above or x series ATi gc. correct me if i am wrong.

Yea. That stepping was made for P4 EE if im not mistaken. From what i read from the some website. There says that those P4 with M0 stepping was actually P4 EE but the procs failed certain test and thus they disable the L3 cache and sell it as normal P4 chip to cover the losses. But is true or not..
