Haha.. Great achievement dude. Can gain another 600mhz extra juice is very good already. Hm.. As for HT and none HT proc. Guess the HT proc will score higher in benchmarking. Dono now to explain this to u, but its just like Kancil with normal engine and Kancil with Turbo engine. Thats what i can tell u. Even though HT does not really boost the performance but atleast it boost up by a little bit.

Ray.. Ur procs hit the wall already? The 3.2E? Duh.. Guess mine are almost same on par with urs.. Haha.. Dono can hit 240Mhz or not..

Sang.. Haha! Running priming prog really takes alot of time la.. I usually run for few hrs only. By then if normal application should be alright..

Well well.. Just formatted my windows due install in a new mobo. Better have a fresh setting over it. Just grabbed Albert's ram.. Waiting for arrival.. After that then see how much i can push.. By then, now my cmos batt low batt dy.. Cannot OC!! After power off then the setting will go back to default. 2mrw grab new batt from work place then can do some mild OC..

Haha.. I tried Northwood proc before.. I really like the temp! Man.. Idle can reach 30'c.. Thats what COOL was! Haha.. By then.. Congratz for ya achievement. Are u satisfy with it?

Haha.. Ya! Ablert's ram.. His Patriot PDP 1GB Kit. Hm.. Either is TCCC or TCCD chip since he can make the ram run on 260mhz @ 2.8v..

As my 2 cent, find the best spot for ur ram and pc after reach that point do some benchmark and satisfy urself for the goal u had achieved then set back to moderate speed. In order to keep the life spend for ur proc, mobo and ram. As mobo now is kinda hard to find.. Better take good care of it.

Haha.. Its running well with my system.. 12k 3dmark 03 score is kinda good for my dy. Didnt OC it thou.. Running @ stock speed. But just.. Kinda hot.. 50-60'c on idle with stock cooling.

How do he tweak that? If run on stock speed with oc. I think the mobo can support it.. As i got a fren was using BH-5 on this board also. He didnt oc his system and i dont see him got any problem with BH-5.

Anyways, if come to OC then vdimm is the thing that u need to concern. As for BH-5, its legendary chip as it can run tight timing in high frequency. But also, the bad thing of it is, it a voltage drainer. U need atleast 2.9v to be feed on the ram to make it stable. As if ur using P4P800SE, the max vdimm is 2.85.. So if u're using that ram i dont think u can OC much.

Its not hard actually if u got a mobo / DDR booster which can feed that pair of ram at least 2.9v then u can fly high with this ram. Enjoying tight frequency (more responsive system) with high bandwidth. Haha.. Else better sell it off lo.

Now warming up with my old pal D43.. 220fsb @ 3.52Ghz all running at stock voltage. Duh.. Dont worry albert this time only will got mild oc.. Im scare of frying my part already.

Worry not.. This time wont go so extreme.. Could reach 3.8Ghz for daily usage will be sufficient for me already la.. Since i dun need to high speed for my current task.

By the way, anyone here is using Gigabyte cooler? I was on my mind to change a new one due my current Hyper6+ is TOO HEAVY! It almost bend my mobo already.. Plan to grab the Gigabyte G-Power lite. Since is build for universal socket. But just wander anyone here is using it or not..

Haha.. Ok! Thanks for ya advise. By then my mobo max vdimm it can feed only 2.85v. I try not to up till that high. See can make 3.8Gh with v2.75. I fried my previous 3.0E maybe is because of too much vcore. Had learned a lesson now.

Ya 98PRO soft modded into XT right? Now running with stock cooling? I bet ur temp sure reach around 50++ on idle. I owned this card before and i do modded it into 98XT. Great performance but bad thing is, this card is a heat monster. Whats the 3Dmark03 score for ur XT?

Mine was Prescott. Haha.. Hm.. Just survey the price. Its around 145.. Just wander how it perform with Prescott since this core is a heat monster.

By then.. Zalman is my 1st choice actually. But just too expensive. RM220 1 cpu cooler. Got good and bad as well.. The zalman cooler is performance wise but bulky! And heavy due pure copper. Thinking now.. Haha..

How was ur mobo hunting season? Got what u wan already? As for PSU.. I suggest u better go for real power or pure power type. Haha.. If ur on tight budget.. Hm.. U can try the Silverstone ST400.. Price is below 200. U can ask Sang about that PSU as he is using it now. 400W power.

As if u gt more $$.. May consider CM iGreen 500W.. As the type that im using now. Not bad also.. +12v rail never go below 12v. And if im not mistaken, from what i read from the sticker at the back of the psu, it comes with triple 12v rail. Not bad lo..

Haha.. C2D System? Well.. Guess u better stick to S478 now. As the price for C2D will drop again in future. No point to get it by now as it still new.. Price not constant.. P4P800SE is a good mobo actually.. I think u better spend the RM230 instead on RM100 to get a new system. Well.. Thats my 2cent..

About cooling system.. I had pm Albert dy. See whats his option.

Hm.. The iGreen kinda exp thou.. RM300> As if can, u just grab the Silverstone ST400 enough for u rigs dy. As i get iGreen is because my place here i cant find ST400. As for acbel.. U may as Raymond & kabu.. Both of them are using this PSU.

Anyways, here is my new result with Patriot PDP.



Running at 3.6Ghz with 225FSB. RAM timing is 2.5-3-3-7 @ default vidimm, vcore & vAGP /w 1:1 ratio..

By then, i still unable to on PAT on my 800SE with more then 200FSB.

Haha.. Thanks dude. By the way, the default timing for my PDP is 3-4-4-8.. I had tighten it actually. As for the PI score result.. I had ran several time for each of the size in order to get the best one out. Oh yea.. Im trying to unlock the PAT on my mobo. I mean when come to OC. Guess will gain better bandwidth if the PAT is enable. Kinda impress with my current result as well. Just 10%+ OC from stock and can archived that result.

Haha.. Still got more headroom to go for the PDP? But anways, i think 3.6G is just fine enough for my daily usage. Will try to make 3.8G for some benchmark purpose when im free. Otherwise.. I will just stick to 3.6G as is enough for me.

About the cooler.. Hm... May i know what is the fan size for it? I meana the XP90. Its using 92mm fan or 120mm? Gotta count my wallet 1st.. Haha! By then, im kinda scare with the tall & bulky size cooler now. as my Hyper6 im tired of its weight. I gota tie up my mobo to the casing size in order to make it stand straight.
