Yo ray.. Welcome home.. Hah! Yeap.. Lowered down my vAGP already. But now cant do OC liao.. All set back to default due to my cooler cooling fan almost kong. 2 LED is burnt and my fan rpm are drop from 2k til 1.5k.. Wandering whats wrong now. Might be that time max the vAGP voltage and cause the fan kong. Was finding replacement fan now. Else need to change cooling system.

refer to my prev post..... just hamtam 8cm fan on it.

Cant la kabu.. Mine is Hyper 6+ not the normal hyper 6! Duh.. Read that article before.

Edit: The heatsink of Hyper6 and hyper6+ is different. Hyper 6 can fit 80mm but hyper6+ cant. Haiz..

hmm......i see. too bad the weird size make it hard to find any replacement. even its own website also didnt sell the 100mm fan. Maybe looking for another altenative lo. quite sad that such a good cooler have to left aside just because of no suitable fan. if i were you i will get try find solution to get a 120mm fan and see if there is anyway to mount it on hyper6+. Its quite hard to get a good cooler that support 478 nowadays, zalman is nice but you know the price la. Just my 2 cents.

The heatsink is really big and heavy but 80mm fan with high speed is noisy,afraid he can't stand with the noise.Between any good recommendation for the fan?Delta 80mm fan is good enough?Or perhaps some 120mm fan with moderate speed?

problem is, his 1 is hyper 6+ which come with 100mm mounting. hyper 6 is 80mm, hyper 6+ is 100mm. so weird the fan size.

Yup.. Im wandering why hyper6+ is mount with 100mm fan! Man.. Thats hard to find the replacement fan. Im now thinking of stick 120mm fan on it... Double tape will help for that.. Haha!

Maybe after you found the fan replacement,you go to up the vAGP until 1.8v already. Stock is just 1.55v,can the 1.65v gives you boost on more FSB ?

Haha.. Hm.. It still ok for me. Accept that seller deal is because the fan and the heatsink is new set. Due he sent this old one go RMA but the shop miss place his cooler. Then they replace him back with a new one. Ic.. Getting two shirt? Nice..

i dont really recommand doubletape, coz the fan will be hanging vertical + vibrate, really doubt that it can hold for long. Thats the experience when sticking my 60mm fan on the gc sink. Within 1 hour got sound comeout from casing and the fan at the floor already.

use cable tie will be better. or use small dawai besi tied it.

Btw, anyone is using Vista Transformation Pack for their desktop now? Im kinda bored with my current Window Media skin, wanna change to a better one. But i heard there was alot of problem with the pack.. Such like right click on IE7 will only show half of the msg/words. Just wander anyone is using it and do u u guys having problem with it?

Get some silent yet powerful 120MM fans like the TT Thunderblades definitely will cool down your heatsink even better.haha

sorry im not using any transformation pack on my rig.imo it slows down the pc and i dont want that

my friends has a couple of Thunderblades in his rig and i've tested it.pushes alot of air,not that noisy and has LEDs gonna get those fans when i change my casing.
