Lol.. Google for Orthos that will be more better then SP2004 IMO.. Hm.. Its dpend on u. U might try change the ratio to 3:2 1st and see the sytem is boot able or not. If bootable then get into windows and run priming program.

By then, what is u idle and full load temp for 3.75Ghz?

xD... Im out dude. Let sang carry the mission forward. laugh.gif Yea.. He did a good job thou. Can hit that speed, might becos he was running on 3:2 thats why can push higher. As for me, i used to aim for PERFECT. 1:1 ratio, tightest timing with the fastest speed! brows.gif Thats what im request from my rigs!

By then, 1.5v will be the max vcore for Prescott core. Dont over that line..

@kabukiawie
Haha.. Scare already. Later dead then gota migrade. laugh.gif By then, now dont have much time for OC. Its not a fun job thou.. Drain time for make it work! Wait my XMS arrived then see how. Gota pick up PSU 1st! XD

@sang
it should be ok for rising ur vcore to 1.475v. Mine i dare up ttil 1.55v before! brows.gif As long as ur PSU can continuesly supply the current and good cooling it should be ok. Did ur casing side panel is taken away?

@albert
I think sang's temp is quite ok. I could reach that in a normal ambient with full load. Without aircon thou. laugh.gif

@colin
Prime95 Multithread is the latest one? laugh.gif Wanna try it after i got my PSU back to line!

By then guys, i found something weird wanna ask here. From what i read at OCZ website, they claim that their DDR Booster allows VDIMM adjustments up to 3.9V. Is that means, the booster itself can supply up til 3.9v vidimm to the memory without mobo control? Meaning if by using this tools, we can adjust the vidimm by our own instead of set it at bios?

Source: Click Here

P/s: Gratz for ur achievement. But stay tune when ur doing priming.. brows.gif Error might just pop out in a sudden and sweep away all ur mood. Btw, if can, do priming for more then 12hrs then can estimate ur rigs is stable or not. 20mins-2hrs somehow still unable to clarify ur system is stable.

QUOTE(overclockalbert @ Sep 25 2007, 02:47 AM)
as for the DDR booster, try to search in the OCZ forum about how to used it. it only support certain
mobo to hit 3.9V. not all mobo can be tune to that high of vdimm.
the vdimm can be set till 3.9V was due to the DDR booster draw the 5V from PSU. so theorically, u can tune it till
5V max(theory only) but heck, who cares about that. u can fly high with BH5 chip even with 3.4V if u get the good chip.

anyway, fylon, did u confirm that yr xms was using the famous BH5 chipset?
rgds,
Albert.
*
Ic.. Yea! I just wander how the ddr booster works actually. Due read from the website claim that user can fully adjust the vidimm as they wish. Haha.. Anyways, my xms havent arrived yet so i duno whats the chipset will it using. Actually get that ram is not for mainly for oc purpose. But just to cut the my ram stick from 4 stick to 2stick. laugh.gif For me, can get 3v for vidimm wil be enough for already.

As if im not mistaken, from the picture of the ram i found that it was xms v5.1, might be using Vitelic 5ns chip.

@sang
As albert says before, P4 system prefer loosen timing then tight. Dont get too tight for ya ram. laugh.gif But anyways, is glad to see ur high such high speed. Wait i got my psu back to live. brows.gif:

Yea. Loosen timing give better response time. But somehow, tight timing were limiting u to reach high speed. As for my rigs, i need to loosen my ram to the loosen timing in order to reach 3.75Gh with 1:1 ratio.

Gratz. Nice PI score. 36s.. Haha! Hm.. Value ram can hit 250mhz speed count not bad already. But just bad thing is cant run on 1:1 divider. Which means, u got high speed but low bandwidth. Hm.. Run prime for atleast 3hrs and see what happening.

@albert

Opss.. blush.gif Sorry! Forgot about sang_karim was running on 5:4 ratio which means his ram was clocked at 133mhz before he start clocking. (correct me if im wrong). Thus running on 3.75Ghz was the proc itself yet not the ram. nless he was running 1:1 ratio then the ram and proc was on par.

@sang

Since when become so hardcore? Haha! But anyways, good to see ur having a good result here. 1:1 ratio at 215fsb has rebooted u? sweat.gif Pity.. Seems like u better keep track at 5:4 in order to hit high speed!

5:4, 1:1 not better than yours. max for 1:1 is 220fsb. 5:4 still can get 240fsb. after testing both, 240fbs @5:4 perform better. tongue.gif
*
Lol.. Hm.. Just wander.. 1:1 lousier then 5:4? Hahah.. Cos mind 1:1 PI only 38s something only. At the same speed as sang. hmm.gif 5:4 low bandwidth but better speed? brows.gif Gona try this out next week when got my PSU.

The card doing great man. But it also CPU bottleneck imo coz in Aquamark 3 score i juz can get 71k only @ 700/1400. With Futuremark 03 can get 16k. I'm using Corsair XMS 512MB x 2. With Powerlogic Magnum 450W/900W PSU. The motherboard holding me from OCing my sweet 3.2 babe coz of Asus P4P800-X issue that can't use SATA HDD while OC. I've done all sort of thing to fix this, flash mobo bios, lock PCI frequncies all sort of thing that might coz of the OC lock, but can't. Even a single MHz. If can OC my sweet babe, sure can make my baby fly... tongue.gif

Yo pals.. Guess im using the same ram as u do. XMS!! Haha.. Whats ur ram rev? Mine was v5.1 and using Vitelic 5ns chip. Hm.. Using SATA cannot oc? Sure.. Die.. Gota make sure of this case 1st due im gona get a SATA for primary! Guys.. Any one can clarify this case pls? laugh.gif Hm.. Letting go ur 68GT? brows.gif Unlockable? Might interested.. drool.gif

@kabu
Ur sata set as primary windows drive? Or just a slave/backup? Or ur PATA is the main drive? unsure.gif
