Using the stock HSF and chiong 2.4G til 3.0G? Thats abit risky.. Provided ur casing airflow is good else really will heat up. Wanna check ur procs temp? U can give a try with SpeedFan. A software use to detect ur proc temp.

Like u can hit 3.75Gh then gota lower down ur ram speed. To make yer rigs less relay on ram. Saving up now? Wanna get albert patriot ar? But then performance ram usually very costful.. Some their price are higher DDR2 performance ram thou. Unless ur planning to make ur new rigs with DDR ram (such like S939 run with DDR & PCI-E) otherwise if not not so good to get performance DDR ram lo. Well.. Wah.. Dont put hope on me!! I just plan to hit 250mhz and run on 1:1 ratio that all. Dont plan wanna push more. No $$ for casing dun have good airflow thou. Hard to get higher speed with air cooling.

Hm.. Urs is Galaxy right? Can show me ur GC box? Wanna compare urs with mine. Cos from the price list i saw, it was state that the 73GT was run on 1.4ns chip, DDR3 but with core speed 300mhz only... Confusing me. When u bought urs? Wanna know the dealer price for this GC now? Only RM290..

Haha.. Is normal for the EE version to sell at this price. @ Ebay, ppl are selling this procs at 2xx USD if convert to M'sia RM.. Almost the same also. Ur fren let go at RM600 can say very cheap already. If i not mistaken, when the time this EE come out, the price is around 1.xk..

I do face the same problem with u whenever i open some big files such like game installer which larger then 500mb with PATA. Haha. Maybe is the procs need to take some time to read the file contain? Or the HDD is slow?

Hm.. Not really! I clean & defrag my HDD once a week. Nothing much improve as well. Was using Diskeeper PRO thou.

Oh yea.. Didnt think about antivirus thou. I was using Mcafee now.. Last time this antivirus kinda good.. But the latest ver are worse. It run alot of background task. How much processes are u guys run on ya PC? Dam.. Mine was 50... After window is fully load. Guess thats alot. Planning to change to Kaspersky internet suit after i got my new HDD and see how was it.

By then, i frequently transfer files. Cause get movies and anime from my colleges thats why i did de-fragmentation around once a week.

Ic.. Which version are u using? Im currently using the VirusScan Plus 2007. IS really run alot of background task. I see my office pc, run on kaspersksy only 3x task after the window finish load. Haha.. Well.. I only did that if i do alot of files transfer and copy.

Haha.. Edmin dont get me wrong. Hm.. Maybe i din state clearly. I was point at my regular drive yet not the windows drive (C:/). Duh.. Im a CE student thou, i understand what are u talking about. I always keep a spare 10G space for my windows drive. And my virtual memory was set to another drive in order to give the windows drive free from become fragmented.
