the max vdimm allowed by mym obo is 2.85V and oredi set it at 2.85V ... maybe that's the max i can go ...

hehe .. i'm increasing the FSB 5 each time ... i think just fine la to run 3.6GHz at 240MHz FSB ... gonna try for stability test later ... have read sum review that this ram can reach 275MHz FSB but of coz the test mobo is P4C800 Deluxe ..

i using 1.5gb DDR-400 ram,

i'm using photoshop with 1Gb ram ... it's ok la for me coz i'm not processing bigger file ... just do sum picture editing ... if u r using photoshop for ur work .. better get 2Gb ram ... can load much faster ...

mine 2gb ram, photoshop cs2 loading and editing is fast with 3.3Ghz HT. photoshop cs3 is a resource hogger, don't use it.

250MHz is better than 240MHz. You are running 1:1 divider with 240MHz now?If wnat to go for higher voltage,get the DDR Booster.

aiseh ... i'm not that extreme la bro ... 240MHz also fine for me .... is it the ram or the proc that limiting me? the proc can reach 3.75GHz at 5:4 divider .... is it the ram that need more than 2.85V?

i think i need more juice for running at higher speed. btw, what timing are you using?? maybe loosen a bit will be better. try running at cas 2.5, maybe can go higher.

i set the timing to auto and when running at 240MHz the timing is 2-4-4-8 ... dun really know how to tweak the timing la bro ...

Yea.. But anyways, with 1:1 ratio can hit 240mhz count very good already la sang. Dont so hardcore.. Give ur rigs some room to rest! Dont squeeze too much! Im enough with 3.6Ghz now.

By then, after got my casing then might consider DDR booster!

i'm using photoshop CS 3 and illustrator CS3, sometimes will lagg sometimes wont, i just dunno y , izzit my proc too low edi, coz mine currently is 1.9ghz oni!!

Hehehe.. Yeap! Aiming for DDR booster now. Will grab it if budget allow. By then, for me i think i dont really need that actually. As my ram chip doesnt require high voltage. Hm.. The only way to check the ramchip is to take off the sink lo..

haha .. i told u ... i think it's using samsung chipset coz kindda read sum review bout it but need to confirm it back ... i think the ram can goes more than 240MHz with ur mobo ... it's stable with 275MHz with P4C800 - E Deluxe ... that what sum review says ... .. wanna get that P4C800 mobo la

Haha.. Well.. P4C is hard to get here. I dont think will got people wanna let go. Is using 875chip. Which are more better then 865. Samsung chip? Which chip? Hahah.. Got many wor. TCCC or TCCD?

Bro.. This my 2cent la.. No point to get grab the new set. Just the 2nd hand will do already. Unless u wanna stay with S478 for another 5years then u can consider to grab new set. I think the corsair xms will do already. I was using that ram also. Not bad.. 240Mhz with 1:1 ratio.

thx for helping me, btw i plan to use my dis com until either the proc spoil o mobo spoil, coz i think its enough for my daily application, btw how bout the ocz pc3500? nt worth it for my rig rite?

Lol.. Well.. If me, i will just grab the xms instead. Dont need to spent that much for ram as the performance is almost the same. Take that money to get other thing.
