i'm also a P4 478 user, but mine is oni 1.9ghz, ram is 1.5gb, geforce 7600GS,

can i know anywhere to get 3.0 or above 478 socket in the market and the price is about how much ?

Yo guys.. Thanks for the comments. Oh yup.. This card drain alot of when full load like running 3dmark and games.. On idle mode, i dont see my watt metter jump. But once on some graphic card application, it straight away hit near 200watt. Haha.. Will try on 3Dmark05 when im free to DL it. Currently only have 3dmark03 with me. Hm.. Havent touch C&C3 yet.. Dont plan to OC this card for now.. As not required to do so!

nt sure lar, i close all application when doin the benchie,
nt enough power? (im using normal psu)

i think 3ghz is roughly 250+-. not really sure about the actual market price.

maybe ram is the issue. if background have taken 200mb ram, when run 3dmark sure exceed your 512mb ram.maybe thats the main bottleneck point.

hehe .. oredi try my ram and got bios checksum error at FSB=250 with vcore=1.45V and vdimm=2.85V .. this is with 1:1 ratio ... then with FSB=245 can load windows but then restart after starting some application... currently running with FSB=240 and no sign of problem yet ... this is the ram that i'm using rite now ..

guys ... do u know anything bout this "bios checksum error.. please insert system disk ..." ... i've google and found that it can result to a dead bios or bad flash .. luckily i'm able to boot again when shut down my pc .... now don't dare to oc for a while la ... scared the mobo dead .. hehe

@sang_karim, that is a result of over-overclocking. tone down your oc (i think the fsb u set is too high for your RAM/CPU/etc combination), then should be fine. I got that msg too previously when trying to find my sweet spot.

@ fylon, your 6800GT roxxxxxx, almost same score like my 76gs ddr3. c'mon bro, i am waiting for your new casing/soundcard/lcd/keyboard+mouse debut! make it hot! i will have my popcorn ready again this weekend....hehe...

Last night i play C&C 3 and set some settings in the game into medium,my 9550 is giving me 20+ FPS in the beginning og the game,then i directly set back to the default to paly game which can gives me 30FPS in game.20+FPS in gaming not nice at all.

Nice RAM you have man,maybe need more voltage to stablize it ?

Hm.. I do faced that problem before. Anyways my suggestion for this problem is, dont up too much fsb at a time. Like more then 10> fsb at at time. Lol.. Usually this problem come out in my rigs also.

i have a noob ques here, any of ur guys using 3.0+ghz proc experience any lagg when using programs suchs as photoshop, dreamweaver, ilustrator and flash??

Depend on how much ram u got as well rouge i think. As i dont use these software, but usually program lag is due on insufficient ram.
