Just got my car yesterday, but it felt like the idle vibration is more apparent than when I test drive πŸ€”

Is there anything on the aftermarket to reduce this?

I want to remove the bezza front fender. Found all the bolts except one that I think is located under the black plastic cover near the side mirror. Anyone knows how to remove this black plastic cover properly ... cause I tried prying it but it didn't work ... and I am afraid that I might break it

I disagree that an SUV's higher ride height provides a straightforward advantage over a sedan or hatchback.

Sure, if you value visibility from a higher ride height. But what also happens is, any obstacles/objects/children, that are short or low, become much more difficult to notice WHEN, you are close to these objects.

Been driving the Ativa for almost a year and my ankles and heels still ache from long drives.

Your continuous complaints about your Ativa, considered selling it?

In my old W203, I never realised this would be an issue until I started driving my Ativa. Now, I cant even tell if there's a safety cone or a curb next to me. The other day, while making a turn at IKEA's parking lot, I didnt realise I was close to the curb and lightly bumped my wheel against the curb. Driving since 2011 and that has never happened to me before.
Every time i exit my condo, I have to make a 90 degree left or right turn and there's a plastic pole which I need be extra cautious that I don't scratch my sides against. Its really much harder to notice these things in the Ativa. I can only imagine this to be more difficult if driving a taller vehicle like a Fortuner.
Lastly, driving position. Unless its a Merc or a BMW SUV, the driving position is never as good as something like a Vios or City. Been driving the Ativa for almost a year and my ankles and heels still ache from long drives.

seat adjust wrongly. bottom section should put flat as possible.
back section adjust according to hand length

kinda agree on ativa issue with long driving
my suspect is the seat design.. it is not plush and hugging as proton seat.

in term of leg, both proton & perodua car i drive about the same (i don't make a lot of stop at RR except refueling and prefer continuous driving)

At idling I noticed its probably between about 850-975 I think.
But not just that, the whole experience feels more vibration than when I rmbr during test drive.

Agree with the curbs point, more difficult to see than sedan/hatches. But the children point abit far-fetched.
Regarding the point about turning, is it possible because sudden switch from RWD to FWD?

If you have not been driving 3-pot car it would probably more apparent to you. I myself can feel it and wish it is better.

I think you would have more luck asking in the Bezza thread here.

Btw, may I know why you’re removing the front fender? Worst case scenario, go to shop to ask them remove for a charge.

guys, recently when starting the car during morning (frequently raining or light drizzle), the water temperature thing is on with blue light.

safe to go or better to wait for it to warm up ? too cold?

Let it warm until blue light gone first.
Same with any car, better to let it warm for abit before driving.
Alot newer cars don’t have temp gauge so they give this blue light thing instead.

fwd rwd as long u catch d point. there r no difference at all
steering 1 full circle = 90' turn
u wont hit anything after object has pass over front door, even steer until limit

No need wait, just drive. Just don't go racing immediately after start driving.
