I did my 20K service today although just only clocked 9K. I noticed after getting the car back, it seems like they did a software update to the CVT? It felt completely different now. Before this, I felt it always get so eager to move when pushed from N to D with the gear knob also feeling unevennesses and jerky when shifting. At low speed, it tend to hold on lower gear unnecessarily and hunting at times. But now all that disappear completely and the gearbox is so smooth. Does anyone know on such update but not made known to owner? For your information, I'm one of the earliest batch owner.

Oh really?
I also just did my 10k service few days ago, didn’t notice that.
I will try to see if there is any different later.

After the service, SC didn’t mentioned also.

why mine feel different, the gear less eager to move at low speed after my recent service 30K

10K & 20K I service near my housing area
30K I did other SC just to test la since macam nice place, then the car drive bit different

previously, it was smooth even at low speed and eager to move. sweat.gif

I noticed about the jerky and hunting because when I viewed all those car review on Ativa and Alza, they kept on saying best CVT at the moment and even better than the ones on Vios and City. While mine doesn't feel like that at all. But this morning after service, it really changed my mind. I think the most noticeable is when shifting from stationery from N to D or anything like that. Previously it feels like stuck and not easy to shift and when in D it just too eager to move (can feel it wants to go forward all the time). I will ask the next time I go there on whether they did anything. I'm sure they did else I must be day dreaming!

But how does that explain the gear knob not smooth movement during shifting? Before this it felt like very hard to move them. And also the eagerness for it to move forward or reverse when shift from N/P.

This SC damn funny. It's a new shinny SC near my home. After a few months I got the car, when I brake harder it got sound like "krak krak" or when do corner on certain road surface also got the same sound. After do twice still got same problem. Then the customer service told me, "maybe you should send to a bigger more established SC to solve the problem". Later that afternoon, the SC owner called me personally. The worker kena tiaw upside down by their boss for suggesting that. They got in mechanics from Rawang HQ after that to fix. They ain't want to explain what exactly they fix though. But it has to do with the front brake setup.

Hi All,

I wonder anyone offered by Sales Advisor any kind of rebate for Ativa that's gonna be delivered in month of Nov or Dec, since it's year end car.

Thanks.
