Any owners here felt that the front doors are quite difficult to close? I always need to push the door harder than usual for it to fully close. Planning to highlight this during my 1,000km inspection due end of the month.

Especially the front passenger. Driver side not really that bad in my case.

The one I encountered was need to swing much harder to close it properly. blush.gif

Yes I think we are talking about the same issue here. Did you manage to get it resolve?

So far I've only used the car around a week and the issue is more acute on the front passenger. The other 3 doors seems fine.

Might just mention it during my upcoming 1st inspection to see if they are able to do something about it

Updste on my case, back left rear noise sorted out by SC within 2 hours. I was told that my handbrake loose and not the common problem of the rear brake drum. Anyway now sorted. Both my front doors are harder to shut as well compared to the back 2 but I guess it's ok. Is it a lot different for your case?

Yeah 2 front doors just like yours. Its okay for me too but definitely could be better. Comparing with my other 2 cars a Merc and Beemer, I just need to lightly push the front door and the swing momentum is enough to fully close the door.

My friend got a Vios about same time and I compared both makes me think that the back 2 doors are too light. Maybe beemer and Merc is another level. My family on has local n Japanese car so I would not know.

Yup, admittedly it might seem like a smug factor driving around in a car that's only roughly a month old since launch. brows.gif I saw another grey unit during lunch time today too - looks nice to see other cars now before they start becoming more apparent.

Nice colour you opted for bro. Yup, tell me about white cars being a huge PITA to keep clean. laugh.gif
Haha that's towards the end though so most times I just focus more on that green average bar which tends to be full whenever I release the gas pedal and disappears whenever I lenjan it.

So far which design you prefer most? I've found myself leaving the meter in design 2.  hmm.gif

Design 2 is the one that has a needle right.. I cant remember. I set it up during delivery, and forgot about it.. I like the one with the needle indicator for the rpm. It just feels right. Other design not so much.

Did u set up a notification for service in the menu? That's a nice feature.. I dont have to put the ugly service sticker on the front mirror anymore.. 😂.

Although, i wish perodua would improve their infotainment though.. Having android auto or apple carplay would be nice..

Haha, I guess so. Probably will change the layout/design eventually when I get bored. Probably personal preference cos Designs 1 & 2 shows the message/settings area on the left side of the speedo.

Hmm, the notifications I didn't touch though for the service, always thought that would be done by the SC? Haha. Since now no manual service booklet. Will see if they do anything for the 1st inspection - as in will they set anything for the 6 months service interval.

Yea, although the HU is a slight upgrade than the Myvi, it still feels rather outdated knowing that Android Auto/Carplay connectivity isn't available. I've resorted to using a phone holder and Waze instead and leave the Bluetooth for calls only. Haha.

Haha, that's nice, my Gen2 is stock, except for rear lamps, which was changed to LED type by previous owner, i bought it used. Been using it for 4 years, not much problem, pretty reliable and affordable to maintain.

Yea, just test drive to feel for it. I never have intention to get City, Yaris or Almera, but i still go test drive to feel for myself how it drives smile.gif

Used to own Gen2 CPS as well. Nice car, i didn't face much issue with it, contrary to what people say about P1. Sold to my friend cheap2 since his car always breakdown.

Now considering to buy Ativa for my parents.

I can feel the same way too. The two front doors seem to have more force to close it compared with behind two doors.

Btw, just got my car today, with silver AV.

I enjoy the car so much. Too much features in the car, probably need to spend time to look into manual. Unfortunately, most of manuals are digital copy (esp the owner's manual), and they are using app (ufirst) for replacing service booklet. Everything goes digital although i still prefer booklet made by paper.

No need app to see manual. Search emanual Perodua, or check Perodua website (I forgot which section), you can download the pdf of the manuals.
I agree also, really prefer hardcopy to flip through.

Congratulations! Mine's a 2T red. It's a very nice car for the price. Power button is very addictive as it makes a lot of difference in your acceleration.

yup.. managed to get the url from the qr code as scanned from the booklet biggrin.gif

yeah.. it's kinda tedious to read through over 500 pages of pdf within my mobile phone. Although they did provide a quick reference guide booklet, i still prefer the owner manual that has informative details that explain every aspect of the vehicle.

Thanks! dual tone color looks sporty and attractive looking too! However, they dont have dual tone for silver, so it's fine for me without dual tone.

With lots of safety features and SUV, indeed a nice price for such decent car, and most important is the driving experience is enjoyable all the time biggrin.gif

yeah.. with power turned on, indeed it will able to pick up the acceleration faster. The only curious part is whether the turbo is utilised when power is turned on? It doesn't mention much about this.

There's a note mentioned in 4-3 that the engine has to be idle for a minute before turn off the engine in order to prevent the damage on turbo unit. I can assume that, there's no built-in cooling solution on turbo after the engine is turned off?

Can confirm whether all ativa has no headlight leveling switch located at right side of the driving panel? I saw that button is empty, although it did mention that in the manual lol.
