Gotten mine today, 2 tone red, full spec.
Upgrading from saga flx, comfy and nvh quite good, probably losing to Vios only in this class.
Adaptive cruise feel smooth when car slow down to match d gap.
No problem with smart tag using originally tint.
One thing is d vibration during idle can feel when leg on brake pedal.

Yeah, that's the hallmark of an unrefined 3-cylinder engine.

Congrats on your new ride!

Thanks.
Also I am too tall for the chrome handle beside d door, I seated way too far. Other than that all good for now.

I'm driving a first-gen myvi and went to take a look at x50, x70 and ativa.

so one can certainly feel the differences but i wonder, do i really need x50/70. ativa feels so much nicer already compared to my myvi. havent tested driving any of them though. gonna go take a look on vios, almera and city.

how's the driving experience so far for the owners over here? i've watched tons of youtube and read quite a lot about them though. laugh.gif

Vios quietness and stability are the best I supposed but no cubby space, the stupid middle console and no cruise control. I would say this price Ativa is on par unless u pay 30k more for full spec x50 and wait another 6 months.

how much rpm vibrate time
*
Did not check should be below 1k, standard rev when idle.
If with hand brake on and feet not touching brake pedal it's ok, slight vibration.
But like short term, red light turning green soon, and feet is pressing brake pedal for sometime then the vibration can be felt .

Any existing owners hearing any knocking sound at the rear when going over yellow lines or uneven roads? I'm experiencing this issue at the moment with about 200km in the ODO meter.

Me, haha I see in FB group, a few also face the same. I make my appointment next Thursday though. Will update once got it sorted out.

Try the cruise control, I think that helps on the km/l, at least for me. Always unaware until I reach 100kmh, still in break in period.

Updste on my case, back left rear noise sorted out by SC within 2 hours. I was told that my handbrake loose and not the common problem of the rear brake drum. Anyway now sorted. Both my front doors are harder to shut as well compared to the back 2 but I guess it's ok. Is it a lot different for your case?

Yeah 2 front doors just like yours. Its okay for me too but definitely could be better. Comparing with my other 2 cars a Merc and Beemer, I just need to lightly push the front door and the swing momentum is enough to fully close the door.

My friend got a Vios about same time and I compared both makes me think that the back 2 doors are too light. Maybe beemer and Merc is another level. My family on has local n Japanese car so I would not know.

Driving repeated short distances, not very good.
Haven't tried fully finishing one tank but car shows 10.1km/l on average.
Not very good as in a far cry from official figures la.
*
Mine is the same, 10 or 11km/l 90% town. Can turn on the eco score that show the km/l for the trip when u off engine. I can see a 40 min trip with highway n town get me 14.5km/l.

Notice that rain/water would stay at b-pillar, anyone know whether those rubber strips with 3m tape does work to fill d place up and won't affect door closing?

There is on the frame, guess that is the place for water to flow down?
My first time having a hatch or SUV, even the place for fuel cover there is water staying there.

What is your average speed on the highway?
